The inu hanyou looked back at Maikeru and almost flinched back when he spoke again. 'Baka.' That was all it took and he knew very well that the tiger youkai was to upset with him. Oh he was sure now that he was in trouble. Sure, he had almost died but what made the demon think he could die that easily? He was better than that, stronger. There was no reason that he would die so soon. No, he couldn't even allow himself to do such a thing because he had other things still planned for the future here.
As soon as he was about to open his mouth to say something, Mikey had just stopped and turned his back on him. 'Well that was unexpected,' Revlis thought to himself. Never in million years would he have guessed that Mikey would just go and walk away. The shinobi was in shock by his actions. Though he didn't stop to run after him. There was no sense in that. He had the risk of messing up and making the demon even more angered. No one wanted to face the wrath of Maikeru. That was just a solid true fact.
Then his ears pricked forward when he heard Oriel's voice and he twitched in annoyance when the human had appeared again. Oh he really was going to kill this stupid magic guy some day! Of course when the danger leaves, Oriel reappears. He found something wrong with that but didn't seem to realize that then Oriel didn't find the shinobi as a threat. he was to realize that he sure as hell would have been more annoyed with the situation at hand. Though before he could say anything else, Oriel's words registered in his own mind.
"As if. You must think I'm crazy if you think I'm going to go after him. That'd have my fate sealed. I'm not that stupid, Oriel." Why had he suddenly forgotten that a second ago that he wanted to kill this human? Maybe it was because they were talking about Mikey. Yeah, that had to be it, right? Well, he wasn't sure or wasn't even aware that he had forgotten about wishing for Oriel's death. Maybe it was just a Revie thing or something of that sort. Wouldn't be the first time.
His ears shot forward to the sound of the yelling off in the distance. Those red violet orbs caught sight of the thing rolling down the mountain. How odd. Then again, how had he not noticed the presence of another creature of whatever in the first place? His ears pinned back at the thought. Oh he really was losing his touch these days. First the Bayushi, Sakura, Shadow, and everyone else. Now there was this. Sometimes he wondered if he would ever get a break from these sort of things. Fate never seemed to grant him a single wish now.
"It's no demon, dumbass." He then said suddenly to answer Oriel's next statement. "It's only a half demon." He said the words as if he wasn't a half demon himself. So much having pride in what he was. Maybe he just considered himself to be better than everyone else in the first place so it really didn't matter what he may or may not have thought about it. He scoffed. This day just got more weird by the minute. He wondered if it would ever come to an end now. The answer must be 'no.'
"I only know because it doesn't smell of a full demon's blood." Revlis then paused for a second, looking at Oriel and raising a brow. "Though I'm surprised you didn't notice just by the aura." He wasn't saying that all hanyou had a weak demonic aura because he was sure that his was stronger than anyone elses. Though you could never be sure these days. When you pissed someone off enough, the demonic energy could sky rocket to unbelievable measures. That was the time that he would then get scared. "You going to check it out?"
