His words rushed into her ears, and she nodded briefly. It seemed that hanyau's were becomming more and more popular by the day. Perhaps Inuyasha should end his fret over becomming a human of full demon. Why not embrace what he was given? It seemed the other hanyau out there had. Only two words slipped from her pale lips in response "I see" she didnt really care to say much more.
Deep cocoa eyes watched as the kunai spun faster and faster on his finger, till the weapon itself seemed to flutter her way. She didn't even budge, not even when his hand once again seised the weapon. The wind from his movement and the blade made her bangs shift slightly, but other then that she remained stock still before blinking slowly. She stared at him, emotionless as ever as his puppy look did little effect upon her. Instead, she simply shifted her weight and took in her surroundings, before letting her gaze fall back upon him once more. "Please, save your games for some other fool." she muttered softly.
Then before another word slipped from her lips a rather odd looking youkau popped out from the tree. How could she have missed him, as shards dangled from his neck. Her eyes narrowed slightly, as the Shards pulsed and tried to come to her. She listened to the two men bicker, it wasn't really of any interest to her in their silly quarrel. Her eyes were all for the Jewels, yet they weren't tainted. Perhaps another youkai with a kinder heart.. The powerful Miko turned her eyes upon Revlis, he really had a lack of manners. What was the world coming to now a days?
Every once of dignified Human , youkai and hanyau alike were becoming rarer and rarer. She hated their lack of respect for those that deserved it, and infact it angered her. Yet that was no business of her's, Nor would she push herself where she didn't belong. Instead the Miko stared blankly at the two, before her lips parted letting the soft words flow from her lips "Please, silence your quarreling. It is rather obnoxious don't you think?" she muttered softly, giving a aggitated sigh.

Revlis scoffed when the vine had gripped his leg. He was sure that Usagi wouldn't hurt him. If he wanted to i he could have done it so many other times before. It seemed like no no matter where he went, he would have to cross the path of this silly rabbit. Although it didn't bug him as much as he thought that he would. He almost liked the demon's company at times because it kept him entertained to some extent. A smirk crossed his features but eh didn't allow his kunai knife to fall anywhere.
Just when he was about to say something smart back to his rabbit demon friend, Kikyou had spoken up. Just the was when he realized that there was one of every type her. A human, a hanyou, and a youkai. What had drawn such an odd crowd together? Weren't they all supposed to be against each other? Shouldn't Kikyou have killed him be cause he was half demon and Usagi was a demon. Vise versa was in his mind for the rabbit youkai as well. The he himself should have killed them both so he wouldn't die.
As soon as she told him to stop, he said nothing else. It was almost as if he were acting like an obedient dog. Though it was also because he had been trained to respect those that he served as a Shuurai shinobi. When someone had requested their services, he went and did his best to make sure that he did what he was asked. He did so even if he didn't like the person or not. His pride for his village came above anything else and he would not put a bad name to such great shinobi then.
"I apologize for my actions earlier," he said, looking back at Kikyou to show his respect. "It was very wrong of me to do so." He didn't even know when he did these things. When he lost his normal self and became that loyal ninja. It was funny how he would serve others but would refuse to bow down to Shoju Bayushi or any one else. There were limits that he set when he thought the actions behind some one were wrong or if he had no reason to respect someone. Kikyou hadn't done anything wrong to him.

The Priestess gave a soft sigh as the quarreling stopped, they both reminded her of Inuyasha. They never seemed to know when to be quiet. Though a slight smile tugged at the corners of her lips, the smile never met her eyes. As she took a chance to really eye the small youkai, she noted his rabbit like ears and feet. Perhaps a rabbit youkai, He didn't seem very threatening.. and the shards around his neck were pure. Not tainted, as they would be if they were in the grasp of someone whose heart wasn't pure. This calmed her slightly, and she took a few breaths to steady her anger..
Sense her rebirth she found new emotions tugging at her dead heart, One's she'd never experienced or atleast never acknowledged. Her ache for her life and jealousy of Kagome. It wasn't natural for a Priestess to have such emotions, and she felt disgraced to even think such things. As the hanyau spoke, her gaze flickered upon him and she gave a gentle bow of her head, letting ebony locks fall across her shoulders. "It's alright, No wrong done.." she spoke softly, and gave a brief smile as she lifted her head back up. Her gaze then returned to the rabbit youkai "Excuse my harshness, I am Lady Kikyo." she spoke her name lightly, as many youkai knew her well.
Atleast the one's whose family had been slain by her, as her saying goes 'Only those whose heart is evil shall perish, Kill only when you must for you Life is to precious to waste.' Perhaps that is why around two demons, half or not, she was so calm... Plus knowing one for a rather long time, she could easily read the ones that meant no harm and the ones that wanted her dead.

A sly smile form on Usagi's face at Revlis' sudden politeness. "My my, 'Revie,' it's like you're a lap dog or something." he said in a taunting voice. It was hysterical to see Revlis speak in such a polite manner. He'd never speak to Bayushi like that. He'd die before he would speak to Bayushi like that. His ears perked when he heard the name of the rather quiet priestess. "Kikyo. The Kikyo? What is such a renowned powerful priestess doing in a place like this?" Usagi rocked back and forth slowly. It was hard to concentrate on one thing when he was in this form. He literally did have the attention span of a rodent, and it didn't help when he was in a conversation.

These boundaries that were strained amongst all of them were so destructive. He’d never dreamed of hurting someone just because he had the strength to. There was no sense in it. Yet this blood of human and youkai weather in hold or in a solid form, not mixed in it was what set everyone apart. Normally these races would never be able to get along. It went against what the whole world stood for. He saw it too many times in the modern era when races of humans were set against each other. If only they truly knew of demons.
As Usagi would take his chance to try and taunt him, the inu hanyou did nothing to react. His mind was in another place now. He wouldn’t fool around the way that he used to. Maybe if he were acting “normal” right now then he would have turned around and would have attacked Usagi again. His brain wouldn’t function to attack unless he was told to or unless a mission required it. Something real had to trigger it in him. It was almost as if Zareuk had truly brainwashed him. Sad if you looked at it in that odd way.
Though he couldn’t see why Usagi would be all shocked about seeing Kikyou. To him, she was just another living being. “Lady Kikyou, exactly what is it you truly seek?” Obviously his question wasn’t directed to the Shikon no Tama, If it had been he would have said something about Usagi’s shards. His question was that of trying to learn more about her, maybe a purpose in life or something along those lines. When he worked for others he normally learned more about them to understand what they wanted him to do. He wasn’t working for Kikyou. It was his mind again.
