Powers/Abilities/Talents:
Speed and Strength:
Though Kouga finally lost his Sacred Jewel Shards to Naraku, his athletic body still surpasses that of an ordinary mortal. He his quick in his stride and tends to sprint as fast as he possibly can, still leaving his comrades behind in the process. His well built body is capable of putting up a fine fight, though Kouga tends to act before he thinks. Rather than using his sword, the wolf prefers to use his strong limbs to kick arse.

Goraishi~The Five Lightening Fingers:
The Goraishi is a divine weapon that is guarded by the souls of the wolf demon tribe’s ancestors. It lies practically unnoticed and dormant beneath the flesh of Kouga’s hand and only comes forth at the wolf leader’s will. It can produce destructive attacks to tear enemies apart.
The Divine Protection is an ability of the Goraishi that could only be used once. It’s powers were so immense that it saved Kouga from melting inside of Naraku’s body.



Animal Instincts:
Kouga’s senses of smell and hearing are much stronger than that of a human. He is, after all, a wolf. His animal instincts seem to get in the way of his “civil” side at times, though, and being blinded by rage can either win him a victory or threaten his life; finally causing him to meet his end. Fortunatley, though, Kouga’s roughness hasn’t erased his existence yet.


Attitude Check:
Cocky. Brash. Tough guy act. Those are some of the qualities that one can first pick out when they meet Kouga. In a sense, the wolf believes that he can pull of any stunt and kill Naraku at any time. He somewhat creates his own weakness in such ways by ending up acting before he thinks. He tends to get into some sort of trouble constantly and always fights with Inuyasha. It’s not surprising that Ginta and Hakkaku think he’s rough and he’s ruthless.
But, really, Kouga is a loyal man who means to protect those he loves and fight for what he believes is right. Sometimes he just lets his mouth run off before he even gives himself time to think. Or sometimes he means those things he says, having his mind set and an independent trait swirling behind his blue eyes.
Kouga’s rough and harsh exterior is probably what helped get him into the position where he is today: leader of the Eastern wolf demon tribe. His attitude can scare people away, or even anger them and start up some sort of bickering, so it wouldn’t be unusual if he was avoided by some. The wolf is a tough one, though, and seems to be completely capable of taking care of himself. The negative side, someday his hard core, cocky attitude might lead him to his downfall.
Losing most of his tribe members struck Kouga pretty hard. He vowed to kill Naraku with his own two hands, now hunting the evil hanyou down to do so. Nothing seems to be able to stop his fits and cruel gestures. Nothing except the young human miko Kagome Higurashi, who Kouga claims to have fallen in love with. In fact, the girl had practically tamed him in some ways, helping the wolf mature a bit and reveal a more civil side. Kouga always fights with InuYasha over the girl; it is still hard to tell whether he really does love Kagome or if he’s just trying to put on an act to seem tougher than the half-breed dog demon.



Mirror:

Kouga is a tall, well built man with animal-like qualities. His eyes are a striking sky blue color and his ears are pointed like those of elves. He has long raven black hair that always seems to be tied back in a high pony tail. The wolf’s skin seems to have a light tan and a mix of fur and armor festoon his strong body. To top it off, Kouga has his wolf tail to either be there to be cute like InuYasha’s dog ears…or it’s just there to be there.

Return to the Past:
Before he had met Kagome or confronted the dark hanyou Naraku, Kouga was what you could consider “untamed.” He slaughtered and devoured humans, destroying their villages in his path. The wolf was a proud leader who dominated the other members of his clan. When he had heard about the Shikon Jewel Shards, Kouga didn’t hesitate to hunt down and kill a clan member who had stolen one from him. The wolf demon almost seemed merciless…and very cocky and brash.
He soon met up with Kagome and her group, ending up in a fight with the half-breed InuYasha. Upon discovering that Kagome could sense/see the Jewel Shards, a plot was developing in the young leader’s head. Soon after, Kouga kidnapped the girl from another time, planning to use her powers at his advantage. Little did the miko know, though, that this demon would declare that he was in love with her. So, of course, this caused numerous…endless fighting and bickering between Kouga and InuYasha.
Kouga is currently hunting down Naraku. Despite the many life threatening obstacles he and his comrades had been through, the young wolf leader is determined to dispose of the demon that killed many of his brethren.
