Translation: Iron Crushing Fang
The Tetsusaiga is a unique sword made from InuYasha’s father’s fang. The blade was forged by the sword smith, Totosai. When it is first seen, one may not think much of the great sword. It looks like worn out katana with a very chipped and tarnished blade while the foundation fabric on the hilt is very tattered. Though when given demonic energy from a hanyou like InuYasha or occasionally a demon, the blade changes to a great extent. It transforms into a huge crescent-shaped blade that is broad and at least six feet long. A thick patch of fur almost like a dog’s then consumes the cross guard of the sword. Tetsusaiga is also enchanted with a barrier around it that deflects demons who may try to touch it. Only a couple of times, demons like Sesshoumaru have been able to use the Tetsusaiga but their hands are burned servery. InuYasha's father was also able to use the sword though it was made from his fang and for him to protect humans. There have been a couple of times when demons like Shippou can touch the Tetsusaiga without getting burned by it.

Claws - InuYasha can use his claws to lash out a his opponents. Since he has demonic claws, they're very sharp and easily cut through flesh.

Fangs - InuYasha can use his fangs to bite an opponent. Although, he doesn't do this so often. He's really only used it against himself when he bit his arm while being controlled by the demon sword, Sou'unga.

Fist - When fighting innocent humans that may be under the control of demons, InuYasha uses his fist so he doesn't hurt them as much. He also uses his fist on weak demons who are so weak that his Tetsusaiga can't even form a Kaze no Kizu against them.

Tetsusaiga no Saya
Translation: Sheath of Tetsusaiga
The sheath was made from the wood of the Bokusen’on demon tree and has magic abilities from it. The sheath of Tetsusaiga has a demonic barrier around it that can hold back some demonic attacks. Though it can hold take on a few attacks before it breaks. This is more of a defense. The barrier also subdues Tetsusaiga’s demonic powers. It has been used against demons by being thrown at them before as an attack. The sheath also has the ability to summon Tetsusaiga back to InuYasha.

Physical Powers:

Sankon Tetsusou
Translation: Soul-Shattering Iron Claw or Iron Reaver Soul Stealer
This is InuYasha’s very own claw attack. He channels his demonic energy into his claws, making them glow yellow with his demonic energy for a second. When he lashes out, the attack leaves and after image of the path of the attack, depending on where he lashed out. This attack is a lot more powerful than his normal class. It can cut through almost anything. InuYasha’s favorite time when using this attack is against some weak demons that aren’t even worth facing his Tetsusaiga.

Hijin Ketsusou
Translation: Blades of Blood
Not used as often as the Sankon Tetsusou, this attack requires the use of InuYasha’s fresh blood in order to work. Essentially, he coats his claws in his blood either by sweeping it out of a wound or gouging his own flesh and then throws the blood at his enemy. The blood, in turn, transforms into sharp blades of red youki.

The Tetsusaiga
The Tetsusaiga is an heirloom from InuYasha’s late dog youkai father (Inutaisho). The sword itself was forged by the demon Blacksmith Toutousai from the fang of Inutaisho. It appears to be nothing more than the average katana, though a bit worn and certainly dull, when it is in its subdued form. However, once transformed, the blade stretches to be over roughly six feet long and it takes on the shape similar to that of a fang. The tsuba is wrapped in the flowing dog fur that appears to be seen on dog youkai in their true forms, as for the grip, it remains the same tattered shape in both forms, capped with a gold end. No full youkai may touch the blade without being burned by it, and while humans can handle it, it will only transform for InuYasha.

Kaze no Kizu
The power that the Tetsusaiga is known for, is the ability to slay 100 demons in a single swing. That is possible by using the Kaze no Kizu technique. This technique allows the user to see the flow of demonic winds or youki and the point in which two winds may merge together. By slicing at that point, the wielder can unleash the deadly force of the Tetsusaiga, releasing a wave of golden youki.

Bakuryuuha
The Tetsusaiga’s ultimate attack, it takes the ability of the Kaze no Kizu and combines it with the targets youki and reflects it back at them, thus increasing the power and makes even the most strongest of demons beatable by turning their own power against them. A pretty sure-fire way to blast away most youkai

Claw of Exorcism or Demon Begone
An attack were InuYasha just lashes out at is opponent with his claws.

Youkai Power
When in a situation where his life is threatened or he is mortally wounded and without the Tetsusaiga, InuYasha’s demon blood takes over with the will to live. He becomes a murderous demon who wants nothing more than to kill, possessing a great thirst for blood, no matter whose it is. Whether it is demon, human, friend or foe, all are in danger when InuYasha takes this form.

Barrier Shattering
Gained from Shiori's orb for saving her from her grandfather and his bat youkai, this technique renders barriers (including Naraku's for a while) useless. When being used, Tetsusaiga glows red. Only the strongest barriers cannot be shattered by this attack.

Kongousouha
Attack gained from Housenki after Naraku had used the shard to make him fight InuYasha. It is able to pierce Naraku's stronger barriers.

Sheath of Tetsusaiga
Made from the wood of the demonic tree Bokusenou, the sheath keeps the sword’s power in check and also possesses the ability to deflect energy attacks, such as lightning and attacks from the Tetsusaiga itself, should it fall into the wrong hands.

Red Yukata
InuYasha's kimono allows him to resist fire. (It also works on others to whom he lends it.) This robe also protects him from weapons and magic.

Attitude Check:
InuYasha acts hotheaded most of the time. He tries to act like he need only himself, yet he knows as well as others that he needs his friends help in order to succeed. He's very "charge in there and attack" instead of thinking his attack plans out. He's very powerful though, that's a plus. He always fights fiercely for the ones he cares about. He forces more than he uses his head. He is a softie inside but hates to admit that he cares about others.

Quick tempered, uses rude language, arrogant but very thoughtful and emotional (although he seldom shows it to others). He has many inner conflicts; one of them is feeling responsible for Kikyou's death. He also doesn't quite know how to express his feelings for Kagome. He has a very bad-mouth and is really rude to those he doesn't know. There are even hanyou/youkai he is still rude/mean to after he does know them.

Since he wasn't treated nicely as a young half-demon (humans feared him and youkai made fun of him for his half-human blood), he doesn't really trust anybody that easily. Sometimes he can get quite confused when it comes to such passionate emotions like love, and dealing with the fact that two women have torn his heart. Kikyou, who he first fell in love with and loved so dearly that he was willing to give up his power and be an ordinary human, only to be betrayed and Kagome, the reincarnated Kikyou who is so much different from her and yet she loves him just as deeply.

After having lead a rough life and still living within one, InuYasha has been forced to take on a more "leap before you think" attitude. Not one to plan things out, but to simply live moment to moment and just survive each of those moments. Long ago he knew that he did not belong in the world of demons or in the world of humans and so, he had to cut out his own place in life for himself. This is one of the reasons he became violent, having to fend for him-self when his human mother passed on. Always seeking to grow stronger, a part of him still holds onto hope that perhaps he can surpass his father in strength and become a Taiyoukai like him. That desire has waned some since InuYasha discovered the uncontrollable demon that lives inside of him.

Besides all of this, he is actually a nice guy, even if he tries his best to hide it underneath his rough and tough exterior. But, through it all he is a loyal friend and will always do what he can to protect those who he now considers his family.

Mirror:
Roughly six feet in height, InuYasha is, for the most part, average height for a male. Fortunate enough to not be disfigured or considered ugly as so many hanyou are cursed to be, InuYasha seems to get most of his physical traits from his demon side of the family.

Starting with his appearance, he is gifted with the long, white flowing locks of his father as they trail down to roughly his lower back or to his bottom. Twin, thick locks of hair dangle about from just below his temples and where his bangs end at and serve to obscure where his human ears would be located. As for his ears, he has two white; dog-ears perched atop his head and are quite velvety and soft to the touch.

His face is quite youthful and often flawless if he has not had the misfortune of being in battle. Most of his personality shines through in his bright, round eyes, which are a burnished gold coloring. He also bears the sharp fangs and claws of a demon.

As for his clothing, InuYasha wears a cream colored kimono underneath the red haori and hakama pants that are made from the fur of the fire-rat and provides a certain amount of defense and protection for him. Finally, about his neck are the rosary beads or kotodama no nenju, that were made by Kikyou, invoked by Kaede and now used by Kagome to subdue the half demon with the simple command or ‘osuwari’ or ‘sit.’

Return to the Past:
Long ago, a demon fell in love with a human princess and from their forbidden union, a child was born. Given the name InuYasha by his father before he died saving the princess, the baby was whisked away by his mother. They found a home in a new village and the princess started her life anew with her baby boy who was more unique than all the other children there. He was a hanyou, a half demon, and would never be accepted by youkai or humans. However, his mom loved him despite his dog-ears, flowing silver hair, fangs and claws and even his precious golden eyes. As InuYasha grew, he tried his best to fit in with the villagers and the other children. However, he found himself constantly shunted and teased for what he was: a half demon. This was because of the product of a forbidden union between human and demon. He was young and naive, not understanding why the villagers taunted him or disappeared when he wanted to play a simple game of ball. He always had his mothers arm to return to and for him to feel wanted and at peace there.

However, when his mother passed away, InuYasha was forced to go out into the world and fend for himself, carving out his path and taking up a life of violence and defensive nature in order to survive in a world that did not want him. He sought out power, wanting to increase his strength so that he could survive amongst the strongest of demons. How he dreamed of becoming a powerful Taiyoukai like his father and brother. For this reason, he sought out a jewel rumored to grant whatever wish one desired: the Shikon no Tama or the Jewel of the Four Souls. The jewel was protected by a powerful priestess and seemed nearly unattainable by any demon that sought it out, as her sacred arrow would shoot them down. But he was determined, wanting to wish upon the jewel for him to be transformed into a full demon and so he set out to steal the jewel from the priestess.

Strange as it was, InuYasha could have easily died from his attempts to take the jewel from the hut in which it was in closed. But it seemed the priestess had mercy within her heart and would always spare the hanyou from death. Never would she send her arrows out to kill him, only to ensnare and halt him from completing his task. Her motives were questionable at first, but when the half demon dared get close to the woman, he found that she had grown sad, wishing to live the life of a normal woman. The priestess was called Kikyou and soon she and InuYasha were never seen apart. He had a soft spot, much like his father, for humans and soon he found himself falling in love with Kikyou. When they both realized that they loved each other dearly, but could not be together as they were now, Kikyou proposed that InuYasha wish to be human. Only then would the jewel become purified from such a wish and the evil in it would be destroyed, releasing the priestess from her burden of protecting the jewel. Driven by his love for her, InuYasha agreed to give up his desire to be a strong demon and become an ordinary human to be with his beloved Kikyou.

Sadly, this tale would not end as happily as they had hoped for. For when the day comes that Kikyou could take the Shikon no Tama to InuYasha, something happened that would change both of their lives forever. When Kikyou appeared before InuYasha, she carried malice and hatred toward him as she attempted to strike him with her arrows. Feeling that he was betrayed, the hanyou gave up his desire to be human for her and set off to take the Shikon no Tama for his old, dark wish to be a full fledged demon. He was able to take the jewel with ease, the human guards standing no chance to stop him as he whisked the jewel away and back to the forest. Unfortunately for InuYasha, he and Kikyou crossed paths again and for what appeared the last time. Using her sacred arrow, Kikyou shot InuYasha through the heart, pinning his body to the God Tree outside of the village and placing the hanyou into a dormant sleep. Unbeknownst to him, the two lovers had been set against each other by another and had delivered a fatal wound to Kikyou and she soon died after, taking the Shikon no Tama to the afterlife with her, protecting the jewel even in death.

Fifty years passed and InuYasha remained pinned to the God Tree, the surrounding forest dubbed the Forest of InuYasha. It seemed that he would forever remain where he had been pinned, if not for an oddly dressed girl from modern Japan. Awaken from his slumber by her voice, InuYasha first believe the girl to be Kikyou despite how oddly she was dressed. However, this girl was known as Kagome and she had fallen through the Bone-Eater’s Well and was pursued by the demon Mistress Centipede. Having no other choice, she managed to break the spell put upon the hanyou, effectively saving her life though the Shikon no Tama was now reintroduced in the world of the Sengoku Jidai. The hanyou, bitter by the past, still sought the jewel to make himself into a full demon, now threatening to take the jewel by force from Kagome. A necklace of rosary beads that had been made by Kikyou and put to use by Kaede and Kagome quickly subdued him. Deciding to resume his life alone, InuYasha thought it best to ignore the girl and try to pick the best time to take the jewel from her as she had unwillingly become the jewels new guardian.

Unfortunately, it was a crow demon that soon would become the bane of InuYasha’s existence when it managed to get the jewel away from the young reincarnated miko. Kagome shattered the jewel using an arrow and the pieces were sent all over Japan. It would now be their duty to go out into the land and recover every single piece of the jewel until it was whole again. With Kagome’s ability to see the jewel shards and InuYasha’s strength, they would be forced to work together despite their attitudes and tempers constantly clashing.

In their adventures, they had the luck of gaining help as the task to gain the shards become more and more daunting. Especially after they realized that a greater evil lurked in the shadows and that he was the one responsible for setting InuYasha and Kikyou against each other fifty years ago. This evil was known as Naraku and he had caused misfortune in the lives of many, even in the new friends that InuYasha acquired with Kagome. Cursing Houshi Miroku’s bloodline with the Kazaana, stealing away Youkai Taijiya Sango’s brother Kohaku and manipulating him into killing his family, it seemed that the fox demon Shippou was the only one not affected by Naraku, though he had the misfortune of losing his father to two powerful demons. Even InuYasha’s own full youkai brother; the insidious Naraku had betrayed Sesshoumaru, though the two brothers will never seem to join forces. One brother would gain the sword, Tetsusaiga. The other one would gain the Tenseiga. Never will Sesshoumaru accept his half human brother with open arms.

Even Kikyou now walks the earth again after being revived by Urasue, though she is made out of nothing more than clay and graveyard soul and must thrive on the souls. The priestess holds onto the bitter grudge and feelings she had when she passed on, determined to kill Naraku and take InuYasha to hell with her so they can be together, forever.

InuYasha and his friends have come a long way and still have much more to go as they continue their pursuit for the shards, facing incarnations of Naraku as he grows in strength and old threats revived in such demons as Ryuukususei and InuYasha finally harnesses the power of his sword and suppressing the uncontrollable demon within him. Loyal to his friends and dedicated to stopping Naraku from destroying the world, InuYasha fights on.

Other:
Since his father was a full-demon, InuYasha received some powers (such as his speed, his jumping ability, strength, quick-healing ability) and received physical characteristics from his father too (such as eye and hair color, his dog ears, fangs and claws). He is very strong.

One night out of every month, the new moon, InuYasha becomes a full human, loosing his demon-like appearance, and demon powers. His hair becomes black, his eyes turn brown-violet and his fangs, claws and dog-ears disappear. He is still very strong, though, for a human. During this time InuYasha is very vulnerable to other youkai attacks and tries to keep this 'transformation' a secret from other demons and usually isn't seen around then. This renders him powerless, without claws, fangs, or the ability to use his sword. This annoys him and puts him in peril, yet it seems he has less difficulty expressing emotions in this form.

InuYasha is forced to wear a mystic necklace around his neck (courtesy of Kaede). He can't take it off or break it. When ever anyone says "Sit"["Osuwari!"], InuYasha is forcefully pulled downward. Timely "Sit!" commands have left him with headaches, backaches, and other forms of general misery.

InuYasha holds his father's grave in the small dot (a black pearl) in his right eye. His sword is called Tetsusaiga, which was made from his father's left fang.

InuYasha has a fierce rivalry with his half brother, Sesshoumaru. One that could end up in one of there deaths. They have fought on many occasions, and InuYasha has either had to run, or need the help of his comrades except for a few battles against his demon brother.

Without his Tetsusaiga, he would turn full demon, which is his goal. His demon form will eat him up though, so the people that know this secret about his demon form, keep it from him.

When he is in his full youkai form he looses his mind and will kill anything in his path. But when Kagome says "SIT!" he turns back into himself. When he does turn back into his hanyou form he can't remember anything that happened to him.

Powers/Abilities/Talents:
Kaenhoushaki
This technique exhales a long stream of incredibly hot fire from the Rev's mouth like that of a flamethrower. He is able to use this technique with such an intensity that the flames become white.

Kasai no Enjin
This jutsu will create jets of fire that can be manipulated into several forms (so far, rings of fire or a circle of fire) before striking the target.

Hinotama
This jutsu sends multiple balls of fire at a target. It is also possible to hide shuriken within the fireballs, creating an unexpected secondary surprise attack. For the most part, however, this jutsu is used as a distraction.

Kajou Kaki
Rev creates a spiraling sphere of chakra and covers it in flaming fire chakra. He then hits the opponent, causing a blazing maelstrom of fire, reducing the victim to ashes, sometimes.

Raikou Mari
This jutsu channels a large amount of lightning-chakra to Rev's hand. The high concentration of electricity produces a sound reminiscent of many birds chirping. Once the technique is completed, he charges forward and thrusts the Raikou Mari into the target. This produces heavy amounts of damage that is usually fatal to humans. This technique is classified as an assassination technique because of the speed at which it is performed, despite the loud noise it produces.

Raikou Senbon
Rev reshapes the Raikou Mari in his hand into the form of countless senbon. It has more specialized speed than the normal Raikou Mari and can cause damage throughout multiple places on the body, assuming it hits the target.

Denkou Kei
Rev generates lightning-based chakra in his palms that he can whip around in order to attack his opponent.

Rakurai
Rev creates a bolt of lighting from Chakra that he can throw at his target.

Kuro-n
The Kuro-n creates illusory duplicates of the user. It is impossible to tell which is the real ninja and which are illusions; clones generated by this technique, however, cannot attack anything as they are not physical beings.

Sakkaku
A very common and basic skill, it gives the user the appearance of another person or object.

In general, he can last longer in fights since he has had training, he has keen sense of smell, hearing, and sight from his dog side. He can also shapeshift into a Border Collie for this reason.

Attitude Check:
Revlis is fiercely independent, and his raw ambition drives him to pursue his own agenda at all times. Although he generally cares little for human life, and views others as mere obstacles in the pursuit of his own goals, Revlis strictly adheres to his own unique code of honor. As such, he helps those who help him, and is fiercely loyal to those who have managed to earn his respect.

He is very strong-willed and proud, but intensely private and not easy to know well. He is cool towards everyone who is not well aquatinted with him. And while polite, he will rarely go to any lengths to be friendly or warm to those he does not see a potential ally in. Those he does count as allies usually play some role in a plot only he knows about. Though behind his quiet exterior lies a great deal of emotional depth, complexity, and also fierce determination.

Mirror:
Revlis has black dog ears with white circles on the back of them. Within those circles, there is one black lightning bolt each that has two black dogs near them. The tips of his ears are white as well. Revlis had two hooped earrings on each ear, red on the top and purple on the bottom. His hair touches down to his shoulders, barely and his bangs fall into his eyes. His hair almost looked layered in color starting with black, fading to purple, and then red as you reach the tips of his hair.

Beneath his bangs but sometimes clearly shown is his Shuurai shinobi head band. The head band has a fore head protector of a silver color. Engraved in it is the same symbol on the back of his ears, the lightning bolt with the dots near them. The head band cloth is blood red in color. Tied back, it falls to his upper/mid back.

His eyes are purple and red, red on the top and purple on the bottom. They have black cat or snake like slits in them. His eyes are usually full of life and clearly express what he feels at any given time. Beneath his eyes, he has one stripe like marking under each one. Beneath these stripes is one black dot a piece, under where the point of the stripe ends on his face.

Return to the Past:
Rev's mother was raped by his father. When his Mom gave birth, she knew he was a "monster." The same day he was born, she was traveling though the ice and snow of the winter, trying to take him to a orpahnage to dispose of him. She ended up dieing by freezing to death. While she traveled, Zareuk and Aizik of the Shuurai shinobi clan watched his mother and took him in whens he passed on. They've raised him ever since and didn't mind much, being full demons themselves. He grew up learning the way of the ninja, trained in fire and lighting and with the sword. Now he ventures on his own, sometimes doing missions for his village.

Other:
Rev has pets that follow him around but can't really do anything, they're just companions. A horse for riding, a fox, and a crow. He usually asks the raven and the fox to scout for near by enemies by ground and air if he can't see them himself.

Attitude Check:
Unlike her brother, Raveik cares for the lives of those around her. She doesn't go around looking for the blood list just because. Being raised around humans, she has many human friends in both eras, but doesn't care of her brother approved of them or not. Rave has a sharp tounge and is quick to speak her mind. She isn't afraid to throw and insult here and there. She'll say it to your face too, never behind someone's back. Even if she isn't out for blood like Shadow, she enjoys a good fight just for the challenge, always trying to improver her skills. She has an obsession with narwhals. Hanging around her "Uncle Mikey" some, she has picked up many of his random traits, making her appear chilsish at times. She'll talk to random people, hug them, and talk to inanimate objectsm etc...

Raveik stands in at about five feet and five inches full grown. She weighs in at about 117. Rave has striking teal colored eyes. Her tail is black an red, ringed like that of a raccoon but with a red tip. Her ears a the same as her tail but with black tips. Her skin is a plae color. She tends to just wear whatever she feel like. She has facial markings samiliar of that of her father, but without the dots. Her hair is black with red streaks like her twin brothers but also holds faint hints of purple. Her bangs fall down into her eyes.

Return to the Past:
Rave is the daughter of Revlis and Sakura and twin to Shadow Link. She's grown up in between the modern and feudal world. She attends school, and gets average grades, not caring much for it. She enjoys spending most of her time training with her mother and her grandmother, Aizik. Her mother taught her the way of the bow and arrow. Though instead of molding scared power into it, she uses chakra. Aizik taught her her chakra power, with little help from her father. Aizik also taught her the way of the sword, her favorite weapon.

None really. She's highly skilled with her blades though. About samurai level.

Attitude Check:
Miku could be described as a prep. She has a somewhat feisty attitude at times and is overall very enthusiastic. She's not very mean unless you make her mad and enjoys buying expensive things. She's very smart and has a sharp tongue. Miku can usually get away with anything when she's in trouble. She's head over heels for Shadow and would do anything. She trust him to easily. Though she doesn't care what others think about this. Miku can be rather protective of those close to he as well.

Brought over to the feudal era by Shadow. She was just a normal high school kid growing up. Knowing that Shadow wasn't one to like humans very much, she went and found a way to turn herself into a full wolf demon. How she did this, she has yet to share with anyone.
