Puppet:
Kiyo
Passed Down:
None
Cursed:
Female
Rotations:
She's fourteen.
Form:
Human
Class:
Village kid. Her mother was a midwife, and her father a rice farmer.
Destruction:
She has a small rough knife her father used to cut rope and such.
Powers/Abilities/Talents:
She's talented at finding herbs, cleaning and making and eating food, hehe. When it comes to fighting, she's defenseless, and rather weak.. She has a bit of spiritual energy, but maybe enough to make a weak barrier.
Attitude Check:
Kiyo can be a ditz, but she's a kind girl, who is kind of stupid. She often saves animals, only to get bitten by them. She loves to cook, clean and repair, and fits into sexism, and she's in awe of warrior women, and is rather nervous around people stronger than her, which is everyone. She's kind of self-conscious, hoping people don't think she looks or smells bad, but it's nothing huge to her. She likes cute guys, as most were ugly where she's from. She's rather narrow-minded, but is learning as she travels. She's not very judgmental, and loves to heal things, because she knows she's doing a good thing, and she's good at it. She's emotional, and gets sad when ever anything dies. She's kind of childish, and babyish. She likes kids, but gets tired easily. She's cheerful, but is easily annoyed. She can be kind of crazy, and annoying. She carries around a small fox she saved, named Kiyoshi [ No, she's not very creative]
Mirror:
She has thick, dark brown hair that falls a little behind her shoulders. She has fair skin, with freckles and a bit of acne, and her nose is a bit large, but not huge. She wears a short sleeveless blue kimono. She's not thin, like most anime girls, but not fat either. She's a bit pudgy, just average sized for a girl who doesn't kill demons or isn't a ninja. She's sort of short, but not the shortest. On her collarbone, a white scar stretches from the base of her chest, to her shoulder, from a wild boar she approached as a child. She keeps her hair up, and her eyes are brown, lightening the closer to the pupil they are.
Return to the Past:
She was just a normal farmer's kid, with a kind, but constantly tired mother, and busy father, and a kind-hearted older brother named Hatsuhiko, who was nine years older. Hatsuhiko cared for Kiyo most of the time, caring for her wounds when she ran into a less than friendly animal. Hatsu was in love with a young woman named Hana, and he did anything for her. He went to travel to a larger town, to learn a trade that could comfortably provide for Hana. However, Hatsu was killed by bandits, after killing two, trying to help the village. But his life was not in vain, the bandits were few in number, and upon seeing Hatsu's fighting, they figured it was unsafe to take on the village, in case all the men were like Hatsu, blessed with strength and bulk. A few months later, Hana revealed she was carrying Hatsu's baby, and she was adopted into Kiyo's household as a daughter when her family disowned her. Hana birthed a healthy daughter, named Hatsune. After a demon nearly smashed her home when Hatsune was napping, she decided that the demon attacks were becoming to frequent in nature, and decided to leave home to find the famed Shikon No Tama, to use it's holiness to protect her home. She still believes the Jewel is whole, as they live far Southeast, and news of it's shattering has yet to reach her village.
Other:
Kiyo has a very weak immune system, and gets sick often. When she was seven, she was inflicted by a horrible cough, that she has yet to completely shake. After a lot of physical activity, she usually begins to cough violently.
Sample Roleplay:
She rose from the small futon she shared with Hana and Hatsune, and smiled at the six-year old, who had her light brown hair, the same hue Hatsu's had been, in adorable pig-tails. She leaned forward, and kissed the child on the forehead. She rolled over, and grabbed a small strand of twine, and tied up her hair on the top of her head. She crawled from her bed, and stood up. She yawned, and stretched. Her mother leaned over their fire pit, steaming some rice in a bowl for their breakfast. She nodded at her daughter, with a small smile. Kiyo scooped some rice from the bowl, and ignored the scalding from both her mother and the hot water still in the bowl. She exited their small hut, and munched on some rice as she walked towards the river. She walked with her legs straight and without bending her knees, and bent her arms behind her head when she finished her rice. She smiled up at the sun, which seemed to float just above the horizon. She sighed, as she looked about the village, smiling dimly. She's have to leave soon. It was unsafe for Hatsune. It wasn't like she didn't care but anyone else, it's just it was especially Hastune she had to protect, because she'd let her father die. And Hana couldn't lose another at this point. But it would be hard to leave...
But she had to be a selfless, not selfish person! She ducked into the forest, and was soon joined by a small red fox, and she smiled at the young male.
“Good morning, Kiyoshi!” She grinned sunnily. She knelt down, and hugged the small, and now half-tame animal to her chest. Kiyoshi lived in the forest, and could hunt, but was tolerant to humans hugging him and petting him and even feeding him. He was a patient young devil, and often let Kiyo, the one who had rescued him from a trap, that he had stupidly fallen for, only three days after he'd left his mother, to become an adult, hold him and carry him about. She gathered him in her arms, and carried him to the shrine. She went their everyday, just because it was far enough into the forest she might run into a needy animal, and because she felt the god that lived their might be lonely. If everyone was afraid of him, who would be his friend if he was stuck in a small little shrine protecting her village?
