Lord Shoju didn't even bother to try and dodge the sembon, and for one very good reason, Churetsu hung on his belt and it was a sword of deception and misdirection and made it appear to all that Shoju was somewhere he was not. As such the sembon went through Shoju's image, since he wasn't actually there. Even the sounds of Shoju's foot falls came from this image, and his scent was everywhere in this tunnel now. Shoju had vanished while standing so close the intruder could touch him. As for Shoju, he was actually maneuvering himself into a position that would be most advantageous and he could feel the power rushing into him from the brands, he was now of the shadows he fought in.
His men on the other hand, were doing far less well, and of the five of them only one was still conscious, and his eyes bore into the second intruder. His eyes turned to hate as he watched him snap some of the swords and move to make off with his, such an affront could not be allowed. "You are a fool to think you can walk away from this. We are but the pincer, and the tail awaits the right moment to strike. Surrender now, or perish."

How had he missed? Revlis couldn't wrap his mind around it. Though if did one thing, it got him very frustrated which didn't do him well in better. The annoyance could be seen in his red violet orbs as he stared back at the false image of Shoju. This guys scent was everywhere and it was throwing his nose off. He couldn't just locate a single place now and the noises were insane. It seemed as if they were coming from every direction. 'How am I supposed to fight like this,' he asked himself in thought, confused.
See, this was the problem with him always relying on his demonic senses for everything. Humans had a benefit because they didn't fight of smell, sight, and sound the same way he did. His eyes narrowed as he glared back at the false image coldly. "I may not even know your reason for coming here to the north but we were far off better before yall showed up," he barked out to. He'd heard Usagi's words and knew that the rabbit preferred not to fight anyway. That was evident when they had just encountered these odd people.
'I can't waste my chakra already with the Kajou Kaki or the Raikou Mari... I'd do me no good.' A fire ball then rose in his hand, this time the flame was of a normal fire's temperature. He didn't have any intention of turning it white, because that would be a waste and melt all of them in a enclosed area like this. There was something off and he didn't like the feeling. The inu hanyou sent the fireball straight at the false image again, this time sure to watch closely to see what happened.

Let's all have a perfect day! - - - - - - - Usagi rolled his eye's and snapped a sword that was already beyond repair. He slapped a soldier a little to hard and knocked him out. "I'm telling you Revie, a diplomatic solution is easier." Even though he said this, he still pulled of his stave and turned it to greaves. "And in case you didn't know, that's an illusion type thing. Try kicking in an arc around yourself." Usagi stood up and used more poison which ensured the soldier he hit would be unconscious. "He spoke. That was his mistake. My hearing is demon sharp, and with power of the Shikon jewel, I barely can see him. The previous inhabitants here helped me perfect it actually."

His ears flickered to Usagi's words and the the rabbit youkai had his attention that second. A diplomatic solution was still out of the question and his new friend should have known that by now. It was just common sense. Revlis was a fighter, not a lover. Fighting was a way of life and something that he enjoyed. It got the blood in his veins flowing, driving him for more. It was the challenge that he got from it that made him even more excited whenever he got into a fight with someone that may or may have been as strong as himself.
An illusion? He looked around for a second but still saw no sign of the real Shoju Bayushi. This made him mad. It was one of those times that he honestly wished that he had been born a full demon. Though, he refused to use the power of the Shikon no Tama the way Usagi did. He had better things to do, his own skills to stand by. "Where is it,"he called back to the rabbit youkai. Although, just to be on the safe side, he leaped back so he was beside the rabbit, still looking on for his target.

Bayushi could only think at this point that his defense was less than effect against the second intruder, and that made him a far greater threat than the foolish intruder, who was showing a bit more intelligence, but not enough to realize that there was a very real chance that he was moving within inches of the real Shoju, and as such leaving himself wide open to an attack. And Shoju was never one to let an opportunity like this pass and as such he struck out with Itsuwari, thrusting the sword down, intending to cut through the intruder's femur while at the same time his hand lashed out, throwing an egg bomb at the perceptive intruder.
The egg bomb contained sulfur, chili powder, and powdered glass, and was designed not only to impair the visual sensors but things that would remain in the eyes causing continuing injury, even to those that would immediately heal, the cause of the injury would remain and cause the same injury again. Even as he struck it would become clear that additional forces had come to the entrance of the tunnel, both by the scents that now came from the entrance and the chill that had entered the air from the spell being cast at the opening to the tunnel.

He may have not have been able to smell or see this guy, but he used that 'sixth sense' of his and felt the strong aura coming for him. In an instant, his eyes narrowed and he used the Kuro-n, that created an illusion of him, looking just like the real thing. He took this chance to take to the top of the tunnel in the blink of an eye, leaving his illusion clone where he once stood. When his feet hit the surface of the top of the tunnel, he channeled chakra to allow him to stand upside down.
He watched carefully as his illusion clone was struck in the femur bone. The illusion cried out in pain, grabbing his leg as the blood leaked out. Though it wasn't long before the image of it started to fade. Since it was just an illusion, it wouldn't have been able to attack back anyway. Revlis hadn't mastered the art of making a true real physical clone of himself just yet. Revlis was about ready to attack but then the egg bomb had been thrown. His eyes began to burn, and he held back a growl, trying to concentrate.
'Damn it,' he thought to himself. Yet, he tried to assume that this guy that he was fighting was somewhere close by underneath him. Rakurai. He managed to form a lightning bolt in his hand and threw one in a the north, south, east, and west directions of where his clone once stood, ten feet in every direction. Then he sent one down in front of where Shoju would have stood to attack his clone in the first place. He wasn't sure if he'd hit the right spot though because he was almost blindly throwing from the pain in his eyes.

Let's all have a perfect day! - - - - - - - Usagi morphed so the bomb wouldn't hit his face. He would have headed for the entrance if it wasn't blocked. So he utilized his knowledge of the caverns and used a bunny path he often used to get into the village. He knew this cavern like the back of his hand. They had once embed a shield to keep him out, but he simply dug a tunnel around it. This pattern was repeated until he had his own little series of tunnel. Eventually he established a territory over it. He burrowed through and popped his head in what was previously someone's house. He walked along the edge of the villages wall until he exited the gate. He retransformed and opened multiple exits to the tunnel, all leading towards the village. He had to let the caverns air out somehow. and this was the best way to do it. Well, best for him at least.

Should have been was the key to the attack landing and while Shoju was hit by the lighting blast it wasn't a direct hit. The force of the blast was still enough to knock off his feet an cause some injury to his left arm as he took the hit and was cast to the ground. His training was the only thing that prevented him from making any noise that indicated his pain. His illusion mimicked his being thrown to the ground. Itsuwari itself was also cast to the ground and just out of reach of Shoju, but while the blade could protect itself against unwelcome theft attempts, without its protection Shoju found himself feeling the pull of the third blade on his waist, the Bloodsword Ambition.
The tendrils of malice and power worked their way into his mind as he stood and drew the cursed blade, for this intruder was definitely worth the attention of this dark blade. The darkness of the blade could be felt by those sensitive to mystical things, it was clear that the sheath blocked this darkness. Shoju drew the blade alone the stone of the passage, and without even appearing to face any resistence it left a gash in the shone almost an inch deep. He spoke in a low voice, and using some of his training he was able to throw his voice so that it wasn't clear where it was coming from, "Come out, both of you. This could be solved with, words. If not, do you really think you could defeat me and the army I have in this place? If not, I will kill you."

He wasn't really able to see it but with his keen senses, he could tell that Shoju Bayushi had been hit. That was his mark and he was sure that he'd made the right choice. A slight smirk crossed over his face and his tail lashed behind him, ears alert. Finally he'd made a hit and that was good enough for him right now. He still didn't know if this guy was the real lord or not but he intended to use Usagi's help to find out just who the lord was and what he planned.
His vision began to clear some, his chakra trying to use itself to heal his eyes. Oddly enough it was working but he knew it was taking a lot of chakra from him. also that it was against his own free will. 'I won't be able to use the Kajou Kaki or the Raikou Mari for now. That blast took a good hit on me,' he thought to himself. Though when the man started to talk again, he wanted to laugh. "Kill me! You couldn't even if you tried forever!" He then slipped into one of Usagi's holes with the rabbit youkai, determined to get into the village.

Let's all have a perfect day! - - - - - - - Usagi turned around and sealed the tunnel. He reentered a different house and waited till Revlis came up before collapsing the tunnels and rearranging the soil that they were made off. "Okay now what?" he hissed at him. "That swords aura is about one inch away from outweighing the Tetsusaiga. How in the world do you expect us to beat that?" Usagi's hair tips were already turning black because of the aura. He was turning dark. In a few he'd be one VERY pissed of rabbit. That meant natural disasters for everyone in a mile radius. Lucky them. "What the hell are we supposed to do about him!?

Did that rabbit really have that much doubt in him. The inu hanyou glared back at the rabbit youkai for a moment. "Just who's side are you on anyway, Usagi?! You don't think I would have taken him down?" His words slipped out from his lips as a growl. "I could have finished him off in a matter of minutes if I could have seen down there! Besides, I didn't want to waste my energy. We need to find that stupid lord or whoever he is." His tail flickered and he crossed his arms in front of his chest. Usagi had nerve talking to him like that sometimes.

Let's all have a perfect day! - - - - - - - "No I just think it would be better to think before we act." Usagi said standing up. "If we had negotiated, you could have killed him in his sleep or something. I'm just here for the shards anyway. All I'm saying is that thinking before you act could really save our buts. That could have gone a LOT better than how it did."

Revlis blinked as he rose up as well and listened to Usagi. The rabbit youkai did have a point actually. "Well why didn't you just say that in the first place? Killing him in his sleep really would have been the best option!" Why hadn't the inu hanyou thought of that himself? How stupid that was of him to be so blind. You'd thinking that being a shinobi he would be able to plan better than he did most of the time now. Yet, for some reason he always let the blood rush to his head now.

Let's all have a perfect day! - - - - - - - "Well if I had said that, he would have known, now wouldn't he?" Usagi said, putting a leaf on Revlis' head. "Don't touch it. With this on you'll look like a soldier in their army." Usagi morphed into his rabbit form and jumped onto his shoulder. "Okay, since you're the epic ninja. You think of something. Ninja's are generally smarter than animals."

Revlis blinked. He didn't really want to look like anything related to the Bayushi to be honest. The thought about it was almost haunting in his mind. So this rabbit was going to leave him to do all the thinking now? How lovely. "Well aren't you kind and generous," he asked Usagi. His tail then flicked back and forth in a new found annoyance. He wasn't a planner, he was a fighter. "We need a reason to be able to enter. Maybe we should use you as bait. Rabbit stew sounds pretty good right about now, eh?"
