Hikaru stood under the shade of a large topped tree, arms crossed. Pale blue eyes surveyed her surroundings. She had just left a village not too far back and yet now everywhere she looked she saw nothing but trees and shrubs. Had she walked this far out? She shook her head to herself disapprovingly. Someone of her nature should know where she was and where she would end up. She had traveled all these years and now of all days she decided to lose her sense of direction. She wasn't worried though, it was only a matter of time before she got herself out of this mess. Though, until then... Hikaru slid down the trunk of the tree, softly sitting herself at the base of it as she crossed her legs at the knee. She would wait until morning. Running a hand through her hair, she sighed. Though morning seemed to be forever away, traveling blindly till dark was no good way to be either. "Such a bother..."

The darkness of the night was something that he had often welcomed into his life. Oddly enough he felt safer at night even though this was the time that many demons would come out to fight. The time that many demons wold try to just come and kill him for what he was. The inu hanyou smiled back at the thought. In his mind he was stronger than any human or demon would ever be because he had the best of both words being a half demon. Revlis smirked to himself as he jumped from tree to tree with ease.
Red violet orbs then caught sight of something down near below him. He paused for a second and then landed in the tree above the demon that dared to take a chance to rest. To be honest, he was surprised that eh hadn't smelled her before. Maybe he didn't have that much focus right now or something like that. He channeled his energy back down to his feet and then walked some on the branch and found himself hanging up side down from the bottom of it so he could be somewhat closer to the demon below him.
"Well well... What do we have here," he asked looking closely at the demon. He had confidence in his voice and it was obvious that he wasn't scared. He would be no threat to her unless she tried to attack him. Though you never knew when that would happen so he kept his guard up. There was no need for him to go and get himself killed at a time like this, was there? He then gave Hikaru a fanged grin as his tail flickered back and forth while he waited for a reply from her. This was interesting.

Hikaru gazed up at the pair of eyes that stared down at her, noting the grin she had received and tilted her head in curiosity. She had smelled him only seconds before he appeared. She should make sure her senses were on full alert. Seconds before a person arrives, especially in her face no less, was inexcusable. Relaxation was now not a priority. "I could easily ask the same thing." She said allowing her eyes to leave his own and study the rest of what she has encountered. A half demon, reasonable height, probably weighed more then he looked basing it off of muscle mass. Half demons were surely nothing to look down upon. Hikaru knew full well of the mixture in blood lines. Where as many other youkai deemed half demons inferior, Hikaru had held a certain respect for them. Had they been weak, the half demon population would have surely died out. It was only logical, and logic and balance is what ruled her overall actions and morals.
"Nakamura" She said suddenly, skipping over the introduction questions. Rarely did she give her first name unless it came up accidently or she deemed the other trustful enough to know it. "You are?"

He'd always figured that the only things that would make a hanyou such as himself strong was the blood of the demon parent. That was the only way that many hanyou were able to live. They took that strength from the parent. Though in his case, he didn't even know who his father was or what he had looked like. Instead he was raised from a child by two shinobi and taken to their village to become one of them. Even though his adoptive parents-if you wanted to call them that-were demons, he still liked them.
When Hikaru Nakamura had said her name, he let the curiosity fill his eyes. Though the one thing that he didn't do was shift his own position from standing upside down. Maybe she hadn't sensed him that well because he'd learn to master stealth. Maybe she had just been to distracted. He wouldn't try and come up with a reason for her. "Lovely," he then replied. "I like it." He then pointed to himself when she questioned his name. "Me," he asked for a second. "Revlis Revirra, Shuurai shinobi at your service." He was to used to saying that.

Hikaru allowed the corner of her lips to lift resulting in her amused smirk. Uncrossing her legs, she adjusted herself so she sat on her knees. Such an interesting event. Never had she actually spoken with a half demon before, they've become so rare to have a conversation with. She has seen her fair share though her scent usually wards them off. A youkai will always despise a half breed, what an insulting and stereotypical statement. It would seem those of pure breed, both human and youkai alike, deem their unmixed blood far superior, such an arrogant way of thought. In Hikaru's mind, they were the perfect example of balance, surely created for the one sided ways of the world. Humans too weak, Youkais too strong, one of many examples where the half demons come to play the mediator. They are not accepted by both sides, oh but how easily they could be. To know the feelings of both races. It is both a curse and a blessing. "Revlis..." She muttered the name to herself.
She reached a hand up and lightly tugged at his hair. "If you are at my service... why don't you look at me upright rather then hang there." She let her fingers slip away from his hair, putting her arms crossed just below her chest as her pale blue orbs continued their gaze. Perhaps while he was still here, she could get a general direction as to how to leave these plains. She never kept up with the lordship of certain areas so as long as she didn't linger about one place for too long, she was comfortable as to where to travel. Maybe even Revlis had a few answers he could give her concerning her present situation.

His ears flickered up when he heard her say his name. That sense of hearing that he had was to great for his own good. When she tugged at his hair, his eyes followed her movement. It actually felt nice because he liked his hair to be messed with. Although he wouldn't say it, his tail wagged slightly back and forth. It was sort of like how a dog liked to be petted in a way. Maybe he'd spent to much time in the modern era these days if he was picking up more dog traits like this.
Though he wasn't to thrilled at her request. More or less he was mad at himself for saying that he was now at her service. Once you said it there was no turning back. Not like he would even get paid if he helped her with anything. Oh wait, a demon shouldn't need his help anyway. So maybe he had an advantage there. Doing as she requested, he dropped the energy from his feet and flipped quickly so that he'd land on his feet. "Is that better," he finally asked her, adjusting to normal view once again.
Revlis then raised a brow back at the demon and a smirk crossed his features again. "Well if you're a demon shouldn't you be all like 'Rawr, die hanyou!' or something like that?" His voice did show that he was curious. Though, he knew very well that not all demons were as bad as they had been displayed as to his kind. Demons had adopted him and taken him in when he was just an infant. He couldn't be more grateful for that. If Zareuk and Aizik hadn't been there, he may as well have died.

Hikaru watched as he flipped upright, her smirk turning into a smile of satisfaction. "Quite." She replied. Her smile faltered slightly at his sudden curious question. It took only but a moment for her smile to come back though. She had just been thinking about the stereotypical category of which youkai were put into. "I could if you want me to." She said in the most natural way possible. "Though quite honestly I'm very fond of you half demons, or half humans, whichever way you prefer to be considered." She said, waving her hand dismissively. Lifting herself from the ground, she lightly dusted off any dirt or dust that clung to her clothing. As she ceased her dusting, her gaze once again landed on Revlis. "Your race holds a balance that the rest of us don't have. Whether you decide to lean more toward your demon or human side is beside the point. From birth, you are the epidemy of balance." She explained idly reaching for Revlis' ear, lightly tugging it. "I believe that to be a very important factor."
Releasing her fingers from his ear, she placed her hands on her hips, her head tilted in a way that suggested that she was about to ask a question of her own. "Shouldn't you be avoiding me? After all, I am a youkai." Even if she may not look it from her appearance, her scent and strength surely prove otherwise. Had Revlis truly thought of all demons to be hateful creatures towards half breeds, he would have taken more caution in approaching her. Had he been like most, he probably would have fully avoided her. Though there was the gutsy ones such as one hanyou who's name she had happened to catch. InuYasha was it? She had heard stories of him around the last village she was in. So she supposed other half demons had the gull to look a full fledged demon in the eyes every once in awhile. This was the first time she ever experienced such an instance though.

He found her train of thought rather interesting. Never had he really met a demon or even a human or a anything that though a hanyou was the perfect balance. No, he just thought that he was stronger and more dangerous than anyone else. Though maybe this equality that she spoke of was what made humans and demons hate him for what he was. Maybe they just didn't like what they were or something of that sort. Revlis could never be sure with these sort of things. Then again, it wasn't like he was one to go think.
When she had tugged on his ear, he growled for a second but before he could start barking out words, she'd released him. He glared back at her with those red violet orbs, showing that he obviously wasn't pleased. Though his ears flickered back up at her question. "Why should I be the one that's running away when you're the one that is obviously afraid of me? If you think hanyou are so great then you must see yourself as something weak. Don't worry, I won't kill you," he said to boost his ego.
Leaning in slightly, he allowed that smirk to be painted on his face again as he looked back at her. He did have to much confidence for his own good and one day he would pay dearly for that. "You're not worth killing anyway." His lyrics held a mocking tone to them. Maybe he was trying to test her to see if she would have the guts to attack him. He was no normal hanyou. Though it was also clear that this woman was no normal demon. She could take on the form of a human better than most.
"Now then... What will you do, Nakamura?" The inu hanyou allowed the words to roll off the tip of his tongue so perfectly. He looked into her eyes when he spoke so it was clear that his full attention was given to her. He wouldn't be so disrespectful as to not give her his absolute attention. With that tri-colored tail flickering back and forth he watched her and waited. His gloved hands retreated into the pockets of his modern day coat. It was just an odd habit that he had adopted from the people in the modern era,

Hikaru allowed the egotistical words flow from his mouth. It seemed the more he talked positively about his kind in reference to what she had said, the more he seemed proud of himself. Every dog had his day. Hikaru chuckled softly, letting her hands slip away from her hips as Revlis leaned in toward her slightly. To be killed by a hanyou, what an experience that would be. Not a positive one. To be laid on the ground, breath labored with wounds far too serious to heal near the brink of death, all because of a half demon. That would be a death to feel slightly ashamed about. Hikaru wouldn't allow herself to succumb to such circumstances. She may have viewed the half breed species to be that of perfect balance but Hikaru was on the far end of the scale where strength far exceeded that of a half demon. She did not expect to kill one easily, but she did expect to kill one regardless. Leaning in slightly herself, she smiled widely. She brought her hand up to his face, using her index finger to lightly trail down the side of his jawline, as she did this, she focused her fire element energy to the tip of her finger nail, heating it to a borderline searing degree as she reached the end of his chin.
Her eyes now glowed faintly a red shade, dying out into a pale red other then the pale blue that she had before as she receded her energy from her finger nail but all the while kept her finger just under his chin. "I'm not sure, you could kill me in any instant. My mind has drawn a blank." She said, her expression amused, her eyes staring intently into his own. It was then she took a few steps toward him, her body only a couple inches from his. "I'm scared." She whispered, making her voice shaky as she contorted her face into that of a frightened helpless woman before she swiftly turned her body, stepping around Revlis and now standing inches away from his back. "What will you do, Revlis?" She asked back, placing her hands on his shoulders, resting her head on her left hand so she could view his face from the side.

He never took his red violet eyes away from her own, even when she had reached a hand up to his face. He wasn't letting his guard down but was somewhat taking his chances. Maybe he was just sure that he could stop her from doing anything stupid even if she tried. When he felt the heat at his chin, he did nothing but smirk. Not like he couldn't fight fire with fire? It was now becoming obvious to him of what she could do, yet of course he knew nothing of the ice that could kill flames.
Although he knew very well that she was playing with him, he couldn't help but bite down on his lip to keep himself from laughing. Revlis found it funny that she said that she doubted she could wipe her out in one hit, yet then she said she was scared. Well now he was sure himself that he couldn't kill her with one blow. Her fire power would mute almost anything that he tried on her, unless the electricity worked. If it all same down to it, he could try kunai knives or swords. That was last option.
His body gave no reaction when she came up behind him and her fingers embraced his shoulders. He could feel the small amount of extra weight on his one shoulder and it helped him to locate her some. Though as he ran her words though his head again, he grinned. "Oh I don't know," he said as if he were clueless. "What should I do? It seemed you have me trapped." His tail lowered and wrapped around his leg to try and act like he was afraid of her himself, using his tail as an embrace to save him.
"I'm afraid the big bad demon may try to come after me now," he whined back out and got a pouting look on his face. He held out a hand and channeled his chakra to his palm. A normal flame appeared before him, yet it didn't burn his glove. Punctually, it had no heat stored in it. It was almost like an empty shell just for show. If he wanted, he could channel heat into it. "I suppose I could throw this at you and try to run away but that wouldn't do much good," he said.
