Why was she here in this cave anyway? It wasn't like it helped her in anyway beside her training. Man that Shadow would pay one day. He'd gotten under her skin to many times. She was bound to become better than him in any way that she could. If only she could find someone else to help her, teach her the ways of something besides a shinobi, a miko, or a demon slayer. "There's got to be a way," she yelled aloud near the front of the cave, punching the wall in the process. There just had to.
Her teal-light blue gaze shifted around the area for a moment as she looked at her now bleeding knuckles. She needed to work on his physical ability too. Her body couldn't even hold up with a punch. Why did it always come down to this? Down to her being the weak one? Her father had refused to help her. Then Uncle Maikeru was always wandering around chasing after he father. The only one that she had form help now was Aizik. Yet, somehow shadow got help from Zare. It just wasn't fair. What made Shadow better?

His eyes narrowed as he heard a thud behind him. that was the third time now and each time he turned to look nothing was there. This place made him a little uneasy. The wind carried an eerie chill about it. Oriel began to wonder why his magic had brought him to this creepy place.
Noticing the cave he walked a little closer. Some invisible force pulling him there. He swore that his magic had a mind of its own. Hearing screaming coming from the cave, he wasn't sure if it was his imagination or if someone was actually there.
He decided that he should investigate. If his magic had pulled him here there had to be a good reason. Stopping at the entrance to the cave he debated walking in or not, Deciding not to he called out. "Hello?" He yelled into the cave waiting to see what would come out.

Of course the eighteen year old had never expected someone else to come back near this cave. What would they want to do in a place like this anyway? It wasn't all that welcoming with the eerie feeling that it always gave off to everyone. Raveik's ears twitched to the sound of a voice. So someone else really was here. She sniffed the air, trying to figure out what sort of creature it may have been although right now there was no demonic aura. It was faint but subdued some how. What sort of being was this here?
Then it hit her and she looked back to the entrance of the cave. She knew that scent. "Oriel," she asked aloud. The girl then venture back to the front of the cave to where she saw the mage... Oriel and Rhita Gwar. From the looks of it the human was in control right now. That was good for her. She'd never fought the demon before but had heard a story of when her father had fought him. "Oriel, what are you doing here," she then asked him. She'd known him since she was a small child. Nothing new.

"Raviek!" Oriel greeted. He hadn't seen too much of her recently but he would never forget her. The good natured twin. Unlike her brat of a brother. He and Revlis had been friends for a while. It was rare that Oriel had friends. Danger saw to that... Oriel usually pushed most people away, But Revlis and his family were different. Even though that could not defeat Rhita Gwar alone. Together though, they could prevent the abyss demon from doing TOO much killing.
What AM I doing here? He asked him self. "Truthfully? I have no clue." He confessed. "What about you?" His gazed seem to look at her very soul, That was one thing alot of people hated about the Sorcerer. "What's wrong?" He knew something was bothering her.

It was nice to see a familiar face for once. Maybe someone that she could relate to because she was different. She wasn't sure but Oriel had been in her life since she was a child. So they were good friends if that's what you wanted to call them. When he asked her what was wrong, her ears fell back slightly and she looked away from him. Her tail also lowered in response. "I need to find a way to get stronger. Shadow is already stronger than I am. I only have Aizik working with me and sometimes Uncle Mikey... when he isn't following father. Though Shadow has grandpa and mother working with him all the time. I'm only a good ninja but not really a good adept rouge either." She sighed heavily and glanced back up at him. "I'm sorry for ranting."

Oriel felt a magical nudge. Apparently this is what he was here for. He couldn't say how he knew but this is why his magic dragged him here. Just now noticing her knuckle he grabbed her hand. "Ladies shouldn't be treating their body so roughly" His voice was calm. Pulling out a blood rune he held it against her skin. His emerald green eyes began to glow a bit as he healed Raviek's knuckles.
If he was going to teach her magic, He had to know if she had a source. Using healing as an excuse he could use his magic to see if she had anything that she could use as a catalyst: as he used his green eyes and his own blood.

A blush crossed her face in embarrassment when he took her hand to heal it. She hadn't even noticed the blood coming from her knuckles. Raveik looked back up into his eyes so she wouldn't have to worry about her wound. "It's nothing," she finally said jerking her hand away from him. She then shoved her hand into her pocket so he wouldn't be able to take a hold of it again. 'His power is amazing,' she thought to herself. She would never would have been able to understand how someone from another world like him would have such power. A catalyst? If he were to teach her how to use this magic. She would have been able to use her eyes and maybe even words like a spell battle. "Have you come any closer to killing of Rhita Gwar," she asked, hoping the demon heard her.

Oriel Smiled. He didn't mean to embarrass her. "No, seems like I'm stuck with him for a while." He wasn't sure what to do about that nuisance Sensing that she did have some sort of catalyst he spoke. His voice was serious as he warned her "I could teach you magic, however... Learning magic is not as easy as it sounds. While learning your own magic could consume you. The training is said to be some of the worst you can go through." He wouldn't teach her the dark magic he had taught him self of course.

She smiled back at him on his comment about Rhita Gwar. She still wondered what the demon was really like in person. Here she was, so close and yet so far from the youkai all at the same time. Then, he had distracted her, talking something about magic. "You'd teach me magic, really?" A light shined in her eyes. Oriel would teach her something! "I'm ready for anything, I swear!" The girl then suddenly hugged her friend out of no where, taking him into a bear hug by mistake, forgetting the demonic strength she had. Of all people though, why her and not someone else? She couldn't really understand but decided not to question it at all.

Oriel winced in pain from the affection he was getting. Has she not heard anything i said? What have i gotten my self into... He thought. "O-okay, You can le-let go now."
First things first, he had to figure out her catalyst... Oriel placed his had on Raviek's forehead. "This won't hurt a bit." He lied. If he remembered what he went through... the pain was nearly unbearable before he blacked out and began dreaming a bizarre dream that eventually told him what his catalyst was

She was a bit embarrassed again when she realized that she had hugged him to hard. "Sorry," she whispered back to him as she let go and started to back away some.
She blinked at his actions when he just turned around and placed his hand on her forehead. "What do you-" She got cut off in the middle of her question when her eyes widened in fear as the magic drained back into her. Her body froze as a natural response as it always had and she then collapsed to her knees, holding her head in pain. She wanted to scream, cry out to Shadow, her father, her mother, Uncle Mikey, just for someone to save her. Yet, she'd been training to to express her pain by sound. Instead, she bit down on her tongue, hard enough to where it bled, her fangs piercing the flesh. That was when she blacked out.
-------------------------------- "Shadow, what are you doing?!" She stared back at her brother, who'd slain her best friend now. He did nothing but smirk back at her. That same grin he'd given her their entire lives. She hated it. "SHADOW," she yelled back at him again, her eyes glowing brighter, turning purple. No, she couldn't let him get away with this. She just couldn't. "Darkness, sweep over like the starless night. It will render you sightless, like the dead before you." A black-purple colored magic then encircled her, and headed straight for the target. --------------------------------
"SHADOW," she screamed as she woke up in fear that she'd just killed her brother. Her eyes shook with emotion, the horror as she looked back down at her clawed hands. Her breathing was off balance but after a while, she'd pulled herself together and remembered Oriel. Looking back at him, that fear still hidden in her eyes, she spoke. "What was that?"

I hope her body can handle it. He thought nervously. It was taking too long. It was night alreay. She should of awoken a couple of hours ago. He was a bit bervous, Revlis would not be happy if he killed his daughter. He sighed with relief as he heard her yell out.
"That depends on what you saw." He replied.

The girl continued to stare at him. How could he not know when he was the one that had done it to her. Rave's ears went back slightly as she tried to recall the dream. "Shadow... he killed someone. I was so angry at him. My eyes... they went purple like father's and I said something. Then this black-purple stuff surrounded me and headed for him. I could have sworn it almost killed him." The thought would still haunt her now though. She could never kill her brother.

Oriel was amused... Words? As Catalyst? That was interesting. "The dream was showing you your catalyst. The glowing of your eyes and the words They are what you use to channel your magic." Oriel explained. "I use my blood and my eyes." He gave an example.
It was time to teach her the basics. his eyes began to glow as he extened his finger. Oriel began writing on the cave wall the principles of Magic, Magic Theory, and The Dangers of Magic. It was a good thing the cave was big. The information he put on the wall took years to learn and memorize, Though because of her demon side he was sure she could memorize it in a few days.
"Read that, don't come out of this cave until you can repeat it all"

So it was all just a dream? She had seriously thought of it all to be real and that was what had scared her. Yet when he had explained it all, it calmed her down. She'd seen him use his magic a couple of times before. The second that he started to write on the wall of the cave, she was following him with her gaze, taking in every word and storing it in her memory. This had nothing to do with her demonic side but with her training herself to memorize things already. It was something that she had needed to learn if she was going to be a skill shinobi and surpass her father. So she had to be able to repeat it all? That was nothing for her. This mordern era school thing had helped her as well. Turning her back away from the words and closing her eyes, the girl repeated the principles of Magic, Magic Theory, and The Dangers of Magic to him word for word.
