Oriel was highly impressed. Being careful not to show it he continued his lesson. Oriel held out his hand, his eyes glowed and a small blue orb began to flicker in his hand. "Magic can be a combination of several energies together. Many people have different levels of each energy. Depending on what energy is strongest in you will directly effect the type of magics you can learn. Life energy, Spiritual energy, Demonic energy, etc. etc. Some people have one very dominate energy and others have a balance of two or more." Oriel explained in detail. "The blue orb shows I have high amounts of life energy in my magic." As he said this the orb began changing colors. It turned purple "Spiritual" It changed again to red. "Demonic." then black. "Dark." now green. "Druidic, or nature." and finally gold. "Light." There were several more that were combinations and even some he himself had created. He had Several life times to master them all.
"Now that we know your catalyst we need to figure out what is the strongest energy in your self." He thought for sure that since she was a demon that demonic energy would be the strongest for her. However, it wasn't ALWAYS the case. Oriel motioned for Raivek to take the orb. It would change color depending on what energy was highest in her, the orb would change colors.

Her ears pricked back forward when he began talking to her about all the the different types of energies that were involved in magic. To be honest, she was still bored with it but it was a bit more entertaining than just sitting around and reading all of that stuff on the wall. To be honest she had forgotten bout 90% of what he had written on the wall for her to study. The problem was that she could remember things like that for just a brief moment of time if she didn't care to much to learn about the reading that was involved at it. She laughed nervously when Oriel had finished speaking to her.
She took the orb from him and closed her hand around it before she looked back at Oriel again with those teal hued orbs of her. Though she didn't dare to look at it that second because she was to focused on Oriel just then. Might as well go and mention it all to him. "Umm.... what would happen if I told you that I forgot almost everything that you wrote back on the wall in the cave," she asked him, the nervousness in her voice. It was clear that she wasn't fooling around with this. She didn't want him to scold her all at the same time too though. Oh she was in trouble.

Oriel's eyes narrowed in annoyance. Did she have a death wish? "I suggest you remember quickly." He said coldly. "If you attempt magic without knowing the rules, you will be consumed by your own spell." He wasn't going to show her again, he had no patients for stupidity. He showed Raviek the text for a reason.
He flicked a finger at the orb and it began to flicker then fizzled out. "When you can repeat them to me again, we will continue." Oriel walked off and sat on a near by rock. Closing his eyes he began to meditate.

Oh he'd just made her mad. Did he really think that she would be able to die that quickly just because she'd use magic wrong? When the orb vanished in her hand and bit down on her lip and watch him just walk off. How rude! Raveik ran back over to him and out of no where, she randomly hugged him and started crying. Taking acting classes in school in the modern era helped. "Please~ Oriel! There's got to be another way! There's no way that I can remember all of that! Nothing will happen, I promise. Plus, I'm a Shuurai shinobi and my brother is the Lord of the East. That has to mean something."

"It means nothing." Oriel said calmly. There was a reason Shinobi and lords and her brother did not do magic. Magic had a life of its own. If it is disrespected, the consequences were dire.
"If you wish to learn magic you will remember." He ignored the tears. After 300 years of living he has seen many tears, real and fake. Neither bothered him any longer.
The sorcerer never left his meditating pose and continued his meditation, ignoring whatever whining the child demon had to offer.

"You're such an ass," she yelled back at him, a fury in her eyes and in her voice. A clawed hand then came up and a loud nose rang throughout the cave and the surrounding area. She was sure that his cheek would be bruised after a slap like that. Not that Oriel couldn't heal himself. Raveik was already mad enough at him and had let go of the hug that second. "Just you wait, Oriel! I'm going to become a better magic user then you ever dreamed of becoming," she then yelled back at him as she stormed off into the cave.
Time Skip: One-Two Months later.
Some how she had convinced Oriel to stay out there with her so long as she studied any and night, never even taking the time to eat. Though she stayed healthy because she was a half demon and didn't need to eat all of the time. Once she was sure that she had finally memorized it and driven it into her head, the girl walked back out of the cave and stormed back over to the human. "You better listen closely," she growled back at him. Then Raveik truthfully spilled out every single last word of the magic studies that she had needed to memorize and understand.
