Life always took many unexpected twists and turns, but that's what made it worth living every second. Being someone normal, like the many other humans in the world, was something Kikyo always dreamed about. Ridding herself and this world of the Shikon Jewel was her only wish, and yet the Jewel came back once again. Though thoughts of the Jewel were non existent, for now it was just her and Inuyasha. Attempting to catch fish in the pond :]
Kikyo only smiled back to his glare, the Inu Hanyau would never harm her. Not intentionally, and she knew this. His glare was only another add on to the humor in the situation. With an amused gleam she watched him attempt to catch a fish, the first try was yet another failure. Though this time she didn't laugh. Instead she watched him realize the art to catching a fish.
With a warm smile, she clapped her hands together as he picked up the fish. "Good Job Inu." she said with in her soft voice. She knew Inuyasha like the back of her hand, His showing off was just another attribute to the inu hanyau. Something she'd learned 50 years ago to wave off. He only wanted to make them proud, and he always did.
As he swam to wards her, her features went serious again. The calm look in her eyes, with his face so close to hers. It took her a minute, feeling his warm breath against her flesh, to say anything. He hadn't been that close to her in nearly 50 years, and it was enough to literally take her breath away. Hearing his words, she tired to smile though it was a bit shaky. She closed her eyes, then slowly reopened them to gaze deep into his Golden hues. "Alright." with her confidence returned, not to mention her breathe, she moved away from him a bit. Seeing as the fish already knew to fear him.
Once again her brown eye's closed, and her hands gently floated on top of the water. A rather peaceful look came about her, and then suddenly one of her hands dove under the water, barely missing a fish. Peeking one eye open she smiled at Inuyasha, before diving the other hand other the water to catch a nice looking fish "Hah!" a rather beautiful smile crossed her features as she tossed it up onto shore by his own fish.
All you had to do was have some patience, and good things will come. She swam back over to him, and slowly inched herself closer to him, just as he had done to her. "Are you hungry Inuyasha?" she cooed, letting her lips near his, before she smiled and backed away to the shore line and slowly climbed out. "Come on... Let's eat shall we?" she said with a soft laugh, glancing over her shoulder at Him.

When Kikyou showed off in front of him, the way she had caught her fish, he stared back at her in sheer disbelief. Man, she made him feel stupid the way she had just easily caught a fish on her second try. For Kikyou, there was no human speed involved or anything. InuYasha though, he was reckless and patience was the last thing that he would ever have. It was almost one of those anything you can do I can do better sort of thing to him. He didn't like it at all, which was clearly expressed on his features.
When she asked him if he was hungry, he looked at her in confusion. Well, of course he was. He was about to shout it out sort of like a state the obvious sort of thing but stopped. Kikyou had caught him off guard with her lips so close to him. When she had backed away from him though, if she were mocking him. He didn't usually like to be teased but smiled at her. For he had just done the same thing moments ago to her. So in almost every right, it was only fair Kikyou got to do it to him too.
When she had asked him to come eat, he couldn't help but smile back at her. He'd get her back again! Then hanyou jumped out of the water and landed beside the priestess. With a single glance back up in her direction, that look appeared in his eye again. Without a word, he started shaking furiously like a dog, just that odd trait that ran through his blood. He hoped that he had gotten Kikyou wet again. Though it wouldn't have been much good anyway since they were both already soaking went from being in the water.
When she had asked him to come eat, he couldn't help but smile back at her. These times were precious.Than hanyou walked back up to the shore, standing there for a second, watching water run off of him. Then without a word, he started shaking furiously like a dog, just that odd trait that ran through his blood. He stopped when he was sure that he was dry enough. Then he looked back at the fish. His had a bunch of holes in it while Kikyou's was perfectly fine. "Hmph," he said as he looked away from the fish.
"I'll get some wood real quick," he said as he realized that they'd need a fire to cook it with. Within a flash he was gone, off collecting wood but in just about less than a minute, he was back thanks to his demon speed and the surrounding trees. He knelt down and positioned the wood in one of those camp fire things that Kagome had told him about. He also stuck a stick threw each of the fish to support them. He stuck the sticks into the ground, proud of himself. Although, his nest didn't look as good as Kagome's.
Now there was just the problem of getting the fire to start, if he didn't know what he was doing. He'd learned how to make a fire so many times now that it wasn't even hard. He didn't even need one of those match or lighter things that Kagome carried around. Pulling out his rusty Tetsusaiga, he also found a piece of flint in his kimono that he carried just for this reason. He held the sword beside the nest and then struck the flint down the blade of the Tetsusaiga. Not to long after, a fire was sparked. He blew on it gently to help it rise. "Magic," he cheered.

Patience, something the Miko had learned at a rather young age. If you didn't have it, then you would never be able to survive, let alone protect the Jewel from harms way. Most children would much rather run and grab what it is they want so badly, instead she would wait and do her chores. Then would be rewarded with a prize, and the power knowing she earned the gift. The look upon his face when she caught the fish was priceless, and a soft smile couldn't help but etch itself upon her lips.
Yes, Inuyasha and Kikyo shared a bond deeper then most could ever dream of. Yet here they were mocking one another as if the world around them was at peace, but atleast for this moment it truly was. The sun was just begining to set. Turning the sky a brilliant shade of orange and reds, turning the water they both floated in a beautiful orange.
As usual she moved with grace as she climbed up the inbankment, and slowly got to her feet. Though if only she could be as fast as Inuyasha, seeing as he was already out of the water and standing before she. She smiled softly, till she once again saw that michevios gleam in his golden eyes. As he began to shake, she covered her face with one of her sleeves, though it didn't help that she was already sopping wet. Still, she laughed softly. For once in over 50 years she was happy, this night would be perhaps one of the best.
After he was nice and dry, she took to attempting herself. Wringing out her hair and gently pulling it back into its proper place with her ribbon. Her white over shirt clung to her frame as well did her pants. Thankfully it wasn't cold outside, or they'd both come down with a cold. She sighed softly as she glanced over at the sunset, the bright ray's glittering the water droplets on her face and neck. She smiled, perhaps fate would grant them one night of peace after all.
His words caught her attention, and she just nodded. Her mind racing with other things, while he put the fire pit together and set about starting the fire. Once it was set up, she turned away from the sunlight and moved towards the fire. Chuckling softly as Inuyasha spoke "Of course." she stated with a warm smile upon her lips. The warmth of the fire was welcoming, as the flames flickered. Her brown eye's lost in the dance of the flames, as they flowed around their circle.
She remembered her request of Kaede, to burn her and the Shikon Jewel when she died. Slowly her eyes closed and she looked away, That was supposed to be it. The end of her and the jewel, If only it would've been that simple. "Thank you for today Inuyasha..." she stated once again opening her eye's to look towards him. Putting her troubling thoughts behind her this time her words were softer and her eyes flickered "I've missed you very much..." with emotion. Indeed, she missed him dearly, and yet she still couldn't find it in herself to stay with him. It was because of Kagome.
Kikyo knew the love Kagome had for Inuyasha, and Inuyasha for her. It wouldn't be right for the three of them to travel together, Fate brought Kagome to him for a reason. and no matter how bothersome it was, she wouldn't dare fight fate.

This sunset. There was something so mystical about it. The intensity of the light and the colors were calming in a way. It was like a beloved fire that raged across the sky, inspiring all around it. For it, there was no poetry in motion but the music was there. The way it was so powerful as it quieted down, rhyming the colors together in a limited work. The rays from it seemed to be as if they reached out to you with a friendly hand. It could tug at the strings of your heart and hold you in an embrace.
He looked back to the miko when she had thanked him for the day. To be honest, he couldn't really understand why. It was just like any other day that he had spent with her about 50 years. Well, maybe it was a bit more fun than back then but still. This was a new memory that he would be able to keep in his heart forever, only in the hopes that Kikyou would to. As he looked at her, he realized that she was just like the sunset that he had thought of. This just made him smile.
"There's nothing to thank me for," he said. "So don't worry about it." His words held nothing but a pure honesty in them. He didn't need to be thanked for anything when the only thing that he ever even wanted to do was spend time with Kikyou. That within its self was a priceless thing that he wouldn't have forever. Deep down inside, within the depths of his heart, he knew that one day he would have to just let Kikyou go and move on. You could just never always get your way or what you wanted.
His nose twitched to the scent of the fish as it cooked. He could tell that it was done, and his growling stomach was pleased as it continued to beg him for food. He leaned forward slightly and grabbed the two fish on a stick easily without getting burned by the fire. That was the advantage of the robe of the fire rat that his father had given to his mother the night he was born. Then, here he was with it now after his mother had died. It was almost like a family heirloom sort of thing to him.
"Here," he said handing Kikyou's fish to her after he was sure that it had cooled down enough for her to eat it. He was protective about everything when it came to her. He couldn't even let a little heat burn her hands or her mouth. That was just InuYasha though. When he truly cared about someone, he'd protect them until the end of time. He'd learned to do it from being on his own so long. You had to keep those things you treasured close to you because there was always the chance you could lose them or it.
With his free hand, he reached his lifted his fish up to his mouth. Those pearl white fangs bit down into the soft tender flesh. He agreed with himself that it would never be as good as ramen that Kagome always brought him from her world. That was the only reason he really let her ever go back. Well, that was unless she complained to much. If she took to long, then he'd go get her. He may have even loved ramen more than he loved Kikyou. That was good question though. Good thing you couldn't 'cheat' on someone with food.

It was different now, perhaps with everything that had happened to them both, they seemed older. Everything they'd been through aging them day by day. Though tonight was beautiful, the two of them enjoying fish by the fire.
With the warmth of the flames licking at her flesh, she smiled softly. Slowly bit by bit her clothes were drying, Finally. Atleast the breeze wasn't chilly, infact it was just warm. Bringing with it the many different smells from around the neighboring Villages. Once again she smiled. It was nice, to feel like she had no responsibilties for once. Be a Normal Woman, with the one person she loved most.
When she responded she smiled and just shrugged it off, Inuyasha was like that. She wanted to thank him for taking his time away from his friends for her, it made her feel... special. Deep down they both knew a day would come when this clay body would break, and the souls would run out and she would no longer be around. It would Break Inuyasha's heart, but these rare times they spent together would be treasured for an eternity inside their hearts.
Gingerly she took the fish from him, with a smile as she gently peeled a piece off and stuck it in her mouth. Inu was always rather protective, with everything. Whether it was what she ate to where she was going, he would do everything he could to make sure she wasn't hurt in anyway. "Thank you," she stated softly, as she gently placed another piece into her mouth.
It was nice, crisp and warm. She in all honesty hadn't ate in quite sometime, with her body kept healthy by the souls she really never got hungry. Yet here she was munching on a fish, though it was all for Inuyasha. If it would make him happy, then she was happy. "Its really good." she stated with a warm smile.
occ. blegh, it sucks! ><

He nodded his head and smiled back at the miko beside him. This time, he at least thought he knew what she was thanking him for and that was good enough for now. It wasn't long before he was finished with his fish, only having nothing but a stick left with some bones. He blinked, idly looking at it, wondering what his own body would look like if it was just bones and a some scraps of flesh left. The thought was almost haunting it a way. He'd never thought much of death before, although he faced it many times.
Then, his gaze shifted back up towards the sky, and he froze. He'd been spending to much time with Kikyou that he hadn't even noticed it. The sun was setting to quickly now and darkness was coming forth. 'Damn it,' he thought to himself, now concerned for not just Kikyou but himself. His ears flickered slightly as he took note that his senses weren't as keen as before. He could hear and smell it though, a demon coming their way and it was powerful, not something that could easily be destroyed as some of these idiots that came out at night.
The inu hanyou quickly rose to his feet that second, and grabbed the hilt of the Tetsusaiga. No, this wouldn't help. It was no use. His demonic power was draining by the second and Tetsusaiga wouldn't respond. He'd just be throwing around a rusted blade. Then as the darkness consumed, it happened. A a wind picked up around him, tugging at his hair. It seemed that with each wave of his hair in the breeze, the silver tint grew darker and darker. His dog ears slid down the side of his head and began to form into human ears. The hanyou's claws were no more and felt his strength fade to that of a normal human now. The golden light of his eyes was gone, replaced with deep ebony orbs.
He looked back at Kikyou, not saying a word about his human appearance now, it was something he still didn't like to talk about because at times like this, it made him feel week, useless. "It's coming," he said quickly although he was sure that she had already senses the demonic aura, unless she had gotten distracted like he had. A loud roar then rang throughout the forest, freezing every creature to the core in fear. It's demonic aura was strong for it held ten shards of the Shikon no Tama. The demon stepped forth before InuYasha and Kikyou.

Wrapped up in the warmth of the fire, and a belly full of fish she hadn't paid the pulsating feeling in her chest. Her attention warped onto Inuyasha with a warm smile. This was a wonderful night fate had bestowed to them, one she would surely never forget.
As the Miko watched him, she noticed his sudden change in attitude. His gaze seemed to glaze over as he stared up at the sky, What was wrong with the Inu Hanyau? She reached out to him, then it hit her. The wave of Demonic Aura and her Chocolate hues narrowed. Tonight wouldn't be as peaceful as she would've liked. Of course, fate had to always intervene into their affairs. Slowly her happiness fluttered away, and her gaze hardened as she got to her feet.
If it hadn't been for the change in the wind, she wouldn't have realized Inuyasha had lost his Demonic force. Her brown eyes once again returned to him, This time there wasn't a happiness in them. Though she was frightened, she stood strong. A proud Priestess never gave into her Fear. Hearing him speak, she nodded her head briskly.
Slender hands found her bow, and slid a arrow into the string. Brows furrowed as she glared at the Demon, Fool. The priestess took a few steps forward, letting Inuyasha fall behind her. In this state he would do no good if Injured. She knew better then to talk about his change, it was always a sore subject on his part. Yet as she walked passed him, she couldn't help but to feel something tug at her heart.
His ebony locks and dark eyes, were yet another reminder of what could've been. If fate wouldn't have betrayed them, Would this be the man she would spend her life with?
Her thoughts drifted away as the Demon once again let loose a bone chilling roar. A wind swept by them rushing her hair across her cheeks and back, flapping her clothes in it's mighty grasp. She knew she wouldn't miss, but she had to have the perfect shot.

To be honest, he didn't like the idea of her being in front of him. It made him feel like he was even weaker than he was already at this time. What was Kikyou thinking? He could do this on his own and that had to be a fact, right? Besides, he was supposed to be the one that would protect her. If not that, they were at least supposed to be a team on equal terms. He could remember countless times that he had fought along side Kikyou. He could remember a night of the new moon like this, was the night they met.
The youkai's deadly read gaze caught sight of Kikyou and InuYasha. He'd come here just because of them, hearing rumors that the hanyou may have had more jewel shards and the miko was just a prize kill. Among youkai, she was one to be feared greatly. Taking her head would be glorious and he would surly be rewarded and worshiped greatly for his accomplishment. He took a look at InuYasha though, seeing that he was now human. How lucky for this demon. Now the miko was his only threat. What could a lousy human like InuYasha do anyway?
"Kikyou," the demon laughed devilishly as he watched the priestess. "I'll take your and that half-demon's heads," he threatened her. What a nice thing to do. A smirk crossed InuYasha's features as this demon tried to mock them. How stupid. He took some steps forward, coming on equal terms with Kikyou now, his dark orbs glancing back up at the youkai. "You best watch your words," he shouted back. Even if he was human, he had an ego to be filled and a reputation to keep up, besides the fact that eh needed to live now.
No weapons. No speed. Just the stealth of the Tetsusaiga was what he had. The demon just laughed, mocking InuYasha again. Then, fire started to surround the area he stood on in hot flames. The flames spun around him wildly, going every direction that they could. Up. Down. Left. Right. Backwards. Forwards. It was out of control. Then the red-orange blames when white, the temperature of it rising with the help of the power of the Shikon no Tama shards. Without another word, the demon had these flames flying right at InuYasha and Kikyou, quickly racing towards the target.

Demons, Such filthy creatures with large egos to match their horrid breath. Yet, there were always the few that, Like Inuyasha, had some sort of manners. Yet there were always the ones that for some reason felt they could wipe out the Powerful Miko. So many had tried, and just like this one they all failed.
Seeing Inuyasha at her side, she couldn't help but let that smirk cross her lips. Twisting one corner of her lips into a perfect little smirk, they both knew the dangers and yet here they were fighting another demon once more. "I would sugest you listen to him.." she stated a matter of factly.
Fire, such a deadly thing really. The one thing that ate her body and left nothing but ash in its wake. It's what destroyed the Jewel, and here this Demon stood mocking her. It wasn't an outright mocking, but the Miko took it that way. Here this demon stood with shards of the Shikon Jewel and fire licking at her flesh. Oh no, this surely would not do. In an instant the arrow in her hand began to glow, The pink auro flowed about lighting up her face and neck.
In one swift move the arrow made a zing as it flew from the string. The aura around it seemed to intensify the closer it got to the Demon. It was aimed for the Demons heart, the very place the Shards resided.
The sick noise of the fire coming towards them caused her to react fast. Another arrow was aimed straight for the attack, If anything it would blow the attack away from her and Inuyasha. With another presitine shot she fired the arrow. If indeed she had missed, she moved quickly and wrapped her arms around Inuyasha, Willing him to get out of the way. The fire was hot and she could feel it trying to eat at their flesh, Yet the fire had missed thankfully. Only burning the back of her shirt slightly.
Angry eyes locked onto the Demon, waiting to see if she'd missed or hit her target.

As the first sacred arrow came at him, the demon was barely able to dodge it by shifting his large body enough. The arrow grazed his shoulder and penetrating the flesh that lay below the skin. A bone chilling cry escaped from his ugly lips when the arrow had hit. His flesh started to bubble and dissolved, all at the same time his body fought to cure an repair the attack that had just been set on him. Then his fire going to InuYash and Kikyou had then vanish before his eyes, making his blood boil and the rage grow.
InuYasha felt so weak, with Kikyou 'protecting' him if one wanted to put it that way. He scowled at Tetsusaiga in his mind. This blade was just so useless sometimes. When the fire had hit, he'd noticed that it was not to far away from him but it had hit Kikyou. Why was she trying to save him from the flames? He had the robe of the fire rat which could protect him. When his dark orbs had caught sight of the flames that licked at the miko's kimono though, he took off the top part of the robe and wrapped it around the priestess.
"Kikyou, don't worry about me, he said suddenly. Within this time that InuYasha had paid to Kikyou, he was unaware of the demon's incoming attack. It's large ugly hand had reached down and grabbed the human, taking him quickly in his grasp. InuYasha's eyes were furious as he tried his best to squirm out of the demon's grip in failure. "I swear I'll kill you," he said shouting senseless threats to the demon. "You can do nothing now human," he demon replied, laughing at InuYasha's false bravery. As if he could do anything in that state.
The hideous youkai gave another laugh as he then dug his claws, slowly into InuYasha, watching the human closely. As those sharp daggered pierced his skin, he wanted to cry out and scream in pain. Instead, he bared his teeth and looked back at Kikyou for a second. "Get out of here!" Flames circled at the demon's feet again, swirling each and every way until the attack as flying to Kikyou, the demon unaware that InuYasha's kimono could resist fire. As the claws went deeper into InuYasha's flesh, he didn his best to try and grab the sheath of the Tetsusaiga.

The demons rage was easily detected, Not to mention the loud blood curdling scream that passed through it's ugly lips. Kikyo growled lowly to herself as the arrow missed, only grazing his shoulder. The fat thing was to angry to think straight, Slowly she got to her feet.
As Inuyasha placed the top of his Kimono ontop of her own, she shook her head "Inuyasha please," she hadn't even had time to finish before the Demons ugly hand swooped him up "Inuyasha!" Horrow struck her face, as she watched the demons ugly fingers pierce his flesh. His blood seeped from the wounds, and she felt her heart sink in her chest.
Flames came shooting at the Miko, and she pulled Inuyasha's kimono tight around her. The sick sound of the Flames licking at the fabric made her head churn. As the flames ceased, she quickly and not to mention quietly pulled another arrow from her back. There were only a few left, but she wouldn't miss. This time, the Demon had gone to far. Each second that passed she knew was vital for Inuyasha, she couldn't allow him to fall. Death would not be visiting the Half Demon tonight!
With the demon distracted, probably thinking she had been killed by the flames, she aimed straight at the fowl things heart. The Purifacation light up the arrow and her body, No one messed with her love and got away with their life. She heard Inuyasha's words, yet paid them no mind. She wasn't going anywhere. With a quick 'Zing' the arrow was off straight for the demons heart, and before he would have time to react she had another aimed and ready to fire if he decided to try and dodge this one.

The demon continued to laugh at InuYasha's failed attempts to free himself. The human hadn't been able to get a hold of the Tetsusaiga's protecter, which was bad in his case. He could feel those claws digging into his sides still, infecting his system. He was losing blood. This human body couldn't produce enough for it to try and keep up with the amount lost. When he was a hanyou, he could lose blood and continue to move, but even that part of him had limits. That's when the youkai part of him would come.
It was true that the demon hadn't expected Kikyou to live. He thought that his weak flames could easily kill of any human. Which, they might have if Kikyou were of true flesh and blood, and if she didn't have the robe of the fire rat. It was to lat before he could realize that this new scared arrow was coming at him. The arrow hit, quickly piercing through his own flesh like his dirty claws did to InuYasha. Unlike InuYasha though, he screamed out his last words of pain that would be all that he left behind.
His body began to dissolve, releasing the grip that it had on InuYasha. InuYasha wasn't expecting the sudden dissolving of the demon but his reactions were quick enough. When gravity dragged him back down to the ground, he landed hard on his hands and knees in a crouching position. He'd learned to do this from habit and luckily hadn't forgotten. He heard the crack from the impact though from the bone in his arm. With the free one, he grabbed the already bleeding flesh, and bared his teeth again. The pain with pulsing through his body as he brain tried to produce natural pain killers. Why couldn't he have been born a demon?

In an instant the demons cries fell upon her ears, and she gave a half hearted smile. He was down, in his hand remained Inuyasha and she quickly started over to him. The demon lay upon the ground, flesh bubbling before he totally dissappeared, as she knelt down by his side. A single hand fell upon his back, "Inuyasha..." she muttered softly. She knew how much he hated looking weak, but just as he'd saved her countless times she knew what she had to do.
Her free hand laid down her bow and her arrows slid off her back, as she gently tried to guide him to sit down. Her eyes scanned the turf around them, and she instantly spot the group of shards upon the dirt. She left his side for a moment to gather them up, and place them in a safe place in her clothing. Once again she knelt by his side.. "Inuyasha sit still so I can heal you.." she stated softly, as he kept fidgeting and moving around. It would only make him bleed more.
One of her delicate hands gently cupped his face, and for once she was able to look into the dark eyes of the man she loved more then anything in the world. For once she was stuck with the fear of loosing him, being helpless watching him die. Her eyes shook with emotion, and she gently pulled herself into him, letting his dark ebony hair fill her senses. She sat like that for a moment or two, before she pulled back and gently placed her lips against his forehead. Perhaps it was the fear of loosing him that guided her to do this, or just passed feelings. Either way she gave him a soft smile, before letting her hands fall to his side.
A soft pink glow emitting from her fingertips as she set to healing his wounds.

He watched as Kikyou had gone to get the Shikon no Tama shards, not to thrilled about it. Well, not because she'd left his side, but because he still wanted the jewel. There was that part again in him, that told him to become a full demon. He'd thought about it many times over and over again. If he couldn't spend his life with Kikyou, why not become a full demon? It wasn't like Kagome would be around after they collected all of the shards. She would go back to her era and keep dealing with that 'school, tests' and 'finals' stuff.
Though when she'd taken held his face so gently in her hands, he'd stopped his fidgeting. His dark orb looked back into hers, knowing that this would have been the life, but without the demons, and hopefully without the wounds. When she held him, it made him feel normal, like he was accepted in the world. A blush crossed his somewhat tanned skin, and when she kissed his forehead. Once again, he was becoming in engulfed in these human emotions. Oh how he hated them, how he wished they'd just leave his system forever. He'd already fallen for her though.
When Kikyou pulled away from him, he just looked at her for a moment, the love in his eyes and he wouldn't have to say a word to how he felt about her. His eyes already expressed it and he knew that she already know how madly in love with her he was. Though he was still InuYasha and that stubbornness would always be a part of him. When she tried to heal his wounds, he glared back at her, and grabbed her hand with his good arm, pulling it away, looking at her in almost a slight glare. "I'm fine," he lied to her. There was no way that he was going to let Kikyou just sit there and heal his wounds, his ego was to big for that to happen. She'd have to zap him with her spiritual power or seduce him to be able to heal him. He facial expression turned into that of one of a rebel. The wounds were beginning to heal thanks to the little healing Kikyou had gone, but he was still at risk of losing his life even if the blood came out slower than it had before then.

Love was a twisted ride, full of pain suffering and joy. It could kill you in an instant, and yet make you feel so alive the next. Break your heart, and create Miracles. It was crazy, and beyond anything hard to fully understand. Even the powerful Miko was still trying to understand it all. Though all she knew, was the Man before her had her heart, and she never wanted it back.
Placing the Ten shards of the Shikon no Tama with the others, felt rather good. As each day passed she gathered more and more, and soon very soon she would have the entired shard. Then she would destroy it once again. Leaving nothing but peace upon these lands, and perhaps a new story to tell future generations. The miko glanced down at Inuyasha, deep in his eyes she could tell the internal conflict he'd suffered from nearly 50 years ago still lingered. Though she knew he wouldn't dare harm her for her Shards, not like she used to believe.
Feeling his ebonite gaze upon her, she couldn't help but to become lost in his gaze. They were powerful, and so full of love. Her own chocolate eyes seemed to glitter and sparkle so full of life, and so full of love for this Man. That was till his eyes slowly hardened and twisted into the hateful glare. Her own eyes mirrored his own, she she scoffed as he grabbed her hand. She knew better then to believe his lies. His white shirt still remained damp from his blood.
Though Kikyo knew him to well, he couldn't just sit and allow someone to help him. No, you had to just do it. Kikyo smiled softly, Twisting the wrist he grabbed to gently grab his hand. Her cold fingers slowly meshing with his warm tanned fingers, she slowly moved closer to him. Pulling their hands to his chest as she leaned in closer to him. Letting his breath dance across her nose, she couldn't help but to close her eyes as she gently let the moment engulf her. How she'd missed being close to him like this. Slowly, inch by inch she moved her lips closer to his, Her hand still locked onto his good hand. She had a plan up her sleeve, and in the mean time she got to sneak a Kiss! <3
In an instant she felt her lips connect to his, and just like that she felt a spark ignite in her chest. The feeling she'd missed for over 50 years washing over her. She had nearly forgotten her plan. With his hand locked tightly into her's, and her lips pressed against his she moved her free hand to his side. As if to grab him, Though a pink glow surrounded her hand. She was sneaky sneaky alright!
( I couldn't resist!)
